Rico's Cafe & Wine Bar

The food and drink is fine, medium quality but overpriced. My real gripe is that for the past three or four years, of the dozen or so times I have come with people, the service has consistently been deliberately rude, haughty or negligent. I waited 10 minutes tonight for a hot chocolate while the barista, with no other orders to tend, filled himself a Shirley Temple and proceeded to drink it and chat with another employee. Eventually he noticed my glance and came over to make my order, excusing himself as "sorry, that one slipped through the cracks". Apparently my one dollar tip wasn't sufficient? I've finally had enough.

Great local spot. Good wine selection, sandwiches, sweets, coffee, etc. Attached to a gift store, book shop, pizza joint and toy story. Live music in the evening. Something for everyone!

Some of the best coffee in the Springs, plus it's an awesome place to hangout. I met the owner once in an elf costume (he was wearing it). The owner is a genuine person.

Fantastic build your own salad with their amazing house dressing. Great tea list. Fantastic place for a vegetarian meal. Best place to hang out with your computer.

Love Rico's with my friends. I don't, however, care for the politics that Colorado Springs City Council displays and it's a shame that Mr. Skorman is President and allows the developments that are happening to our city. I thought we had city codes, evidently we don't if it's profitable to the city. It's a shame.

I love the uniqueness of this place. You can get food like pizza and salads, coffee and tea, and desserts. Right next door are a couple stores where you can get books, games, and other great items.

The barista is very friendly, but the ingredients in the chai coffee is the worst I’ve ever had.

When I saw Belgian sipping chocolate on the menu, I knew the mocha had to be amazing as well-- it was the most decadent mocha I've had! Very friendly staff as well. Extensive menu.

What an awesome place. Great lighting and music was just right. Absolutely amazing pour over. Great taste. I'm from out of town. If I lived here I'd visit frequently.

Rico's is a great spot. Part of a 4 shop establishment, the cafe and wine bar serves espresso drinks, drip coffee, beer and wine and there is live music 4 nights a week.
