My husband and I stopped by this cafe before going on the train ride. We got a coffee and a breakfast burrito. This was hands down one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. We asked to add jalapeños and green chili sauce which was amazing! The coffee was also super fresh and so good! The staff was super friendly and accommodating! Still can’t stop thinking about that burrito....

We were absolutely shocked to arrive Canon City this year, and see that the Caboose Cafe at Happy Endings had a “Pets Not Allowed” sign at the front entrance (patio area). We have, ever since they opened, taken our well-behaved dog with us to enjoy coffee and breakfast, while watching the train pull out…and many times went back in the afternoon to enjoy an additional treat while watching the train(s) come back in. We’ve had to make the decision to look elsewhere for dog-friendly patios. What a disappointment!

Tiny little place with plenty of outdoor seating. The food tasted fresh and was plentiful. We had the chicken pesto sandwich which came with potato chips and salad. Delicious! And we also had ice cream for dessert.. also delicious. I recomend trying the sodas.. I had the ginger ale which was great. And best of all you get to watch the train come in.
My only dislike (but not so much to remove a star) was the bathroom is in the railroad station which gets packed if the train just got in.

Really deserved a 0! No greeting? My family stood and waited for service and no one said a thang! What happened to customer service? Not even good or bad customer service, just plain customer service. I love to support local small business however this business gets a hard pass. As a small business owner myself my self nor my staff would ever just leave a customer hanging. Lastly we drove from the Springs just to support and try for the first time. Sadly disappointed and almost a waist of my time and fuel.

Food, customer service, and atmosphere are great. Is a nice location with good amount of shade by the park and you have an opportunity to see the train come and go if there.

I'm from Fort Collins and the meal I had at this Happy Ending's caboose eatery was the best I've had in many years. It was a happy ending to a cancelled train ride. They also accomodated Gluten free need of my friend.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. The food and coffee were amazing. All the employees were helpful and so sweet. I got the raspberry cheesecake latte and the chicken chimichanga! Will recommend to everyone

A really lovely little cafe that's conveniently located right next to the station the train departs from. If you have a morning ticket, it's recommended you stop in here first (for a coffee or the like) bc after the ride, it can get packed and you'll be waiting awhile. And am I the only one who finds the name hilarious? Everyone deserves a happy ending 😂.... All silliness side, a very quaint and charming place. Also highly recommend the Parkview motel across the street if you're looking for accomodations! 🌟👍

Definitely not open during the hours listed.
Got here at 10:30am on a Tuesday.
Called and it said they were busy with other customers, but the door is locked.

Very satisfying, but pretty overpriced.

$13 quesadilla was made of chicken and cheese. Filling and substantial, but pretty simple.

Definitely arrive before happy hour to have access to the full menu.
