Happy Endings Caboose Cafe

Best food experience in our first trip to Colorado. The Gorgeous Angus burger… wow! I honestly didn’t expect this amazing burger to come out of a caboose miniature kitchen… boy I was wrong! Do yourself a favor and eat here when on Cañón City! Friendly service was the cherry on top!

It was delicious and unique. All of our orders were unique twists on classics and every one of them fantastic and filling!

Went to this place during the summer when a festival was going on and they had brats, nachos, chicken strips and some other food. My wife ordered the nachos, which came with multi-colored chips and some meat. They were so disgusting, she could not finish them. It did not taste anything like nachos. For me, I ordered a brat and it came on an overly cooked, hard & crunchy bun. Hard crunchy buns are disgusting as it takes away from the brat because your mouth is watering from how dry and hard the bun is. I also was hungry and the brat itself had no flavor and was still nasty by itself. Even with a lot of ketchup, I still could not finish the brat. For my kids, I ordered the chicken strips. They were too breaded and had very little to no seasoning. They were very bland.

Even if you're very hungry, this is not the place to be. The price for the food is over priced and the quality you get is subpar at best. You'd have better flavor eating bar food. My wife and I were so disgusted with this place, we will never go back.

Absolutely delicious food! There are only two tiny booths inside, so you pretty much have to sit outside, but the patio area is nice and the tables all have umbrellas.

There is nothing like Happy Ending in a caboose. The coffee was fresh and food delicious with friendly staff.

I’ve fallen in love after visiting Happy Endings for the first time this weekend!!! They have hands the best burgers, hot dogs, and coffee in town! The staff make you feel welcome and even though the inside of the cafe is small, the atmosphere charming and exciting if you’re there while the Royal Gorge train goes by. Please stop here while you’re here!! You won’t regret it.

As a barista I can say the coffee was fabulous! The food was super tasty and the presentation was a knockout! I will most definitely come back if I ever come to Colorado again!

Not a big selection of items. Nice outdoor patio area.
