The Midland Stop

Such a wonderful place. The gelato is delicious and I will certainly be back for espresso. The owners are incredibly nice and friendly. A must stop place!

Adorable little shop down in the new South Main development down by the river in Buena Vista! This shop truly works to deliver the best quality products to their customers. From the their homemade gelato to their authentic espresso drinks and fresh-from-the oven baked goods, it's all good! One of our favorites is the Lemon Affogato (shots of espresso poured over lemon gelato). Unique and delicious!

Great little coffee shop in South Main. They make a delicious London Fog (which is very hard to come by, believe me!) they call it a “cambric”. They also sell local items like honey from Salida which I have stocked up on. Great spot for an everyday hang.

It is ok my London fog wasn’t as sweet as I liked it but they fixed it. Cute little coffee place would recommend coming here their gelato did look good!

Locally-owned with fantastic gelato (no run-of-the-mill ice cream here) and even treats others have never heard of (try the affagato). Surrounded by the awesome South Main new urbanism community you've a great combo. The Midland is a great "Stop"!

Really really good coffee here. Coffee is a priority in my life, and so the Midland is a haven for me.
Perhaps their coffee isn't as good as blue bottle, intelligentsia, or stumptown, but it's getting there.

And of course they have gelato, which is made in-house, and is crazy flavorful.

Go here. Drive from Salida, but get to this Stop.

Let me tell you... such an amazing coffee shop. The owner was so sweet and their coffee was strong. Highly recommend stopping by here.

This coffee shop saves the day! After searching for real coffee in BV, you will not do any better than this shop. Shelby is a doll. I was able to order her last GF scone (YUM!) and my husband and I each had lattes and sat out on the porch enjoying the town. After finishing I went back in to get a chai, they make their chai from scratch and it is an experience. I cant wait to visit again!!

Driving back from Durango to Denver last night. Desperate for coffee. As I approached Buena Vista, I googled coffee at 940 PM. Seen the only coffee shop open had 5 stars and was open till 10. Got there with 5 minutes to spare. Totally worth speeding for. Excellent latte. Will make it habit to stop by next time I'm in town.

I left a portion of my burrito behind at a local friends house before camping. I mourned my loss as I ate pringles for breakfast before my long hike.
