The Midland Stop

The best burrito in town! It taste fresh and is very generously loaded with veggies, egg, and potatoes. The veggie frittata was excellent as well. Great serving sizes. The mocha coffee was delicious and smooth. The oatmeal is awesome for how simple it is and I love that they ask you if you would like to add something sweet instead of making it sweet from the start. Highly recommend this coffee shop! We always come here when in town for a quick breakfast before taking off to explore.

Wonderful pastries (get there early and they're still warm)! Good coffee, great location (check out the bicycle shop next door, Black Burro Bikes), you're also steps away from a delightful walk along the Arkansas River!

High quality espresso pulls at this surprisingly outstanding small-town coffee shop. The frittata and danish/puffs are just fantastic as well. Make sure to say hi to the incredibly friendly doorman, Kodi (dog)!

Amazing coffee spot in Buena Vista. Great service and excellent real coffee.

A cute little coffee shop that's definitely worth a stop! Be sure to try the Midland Maple, sort of like a mocha but with maple syrup instead of chocolate.

Ok, so here's the gig

Your sign so cleverly and politely asks your customers to wear a mask, but from our experience today it would appear your employees are exempt? I see you have another reviewer complaining about the same issue. Maybe you haven't gotten around to reviewing your policy and following the guidelines you have posted outside of your door. We are in Buena Vista often and appreciate the large effort this community has put in. In a slew of other small businesses working hard to stay afloat, protect their customers and follow these guidelines, I'll opt to go elsewhere next time I'm in BV.

The best coffee in buena vista! Their breakfast burrito was great as well. Great location to grab coffee and a burrito for a morning stroll by the river. The pour overs are especially good for black coffee drinkers.

Our group was in town for weekend --in need of daily caffeine fix. Midland Stop got rave reviews from all--the lavender latte, the drip coffee and the homemade blueberry muffin were exceptional. Plus the owner, Jan---was super nice and helpful (always a plus 😊--makes some of the baked goods!). Great location too👍👍

Cute coffee and gelato shop with great, delicious options to enjoy by the river.

First time in Buena Vista we checked out this coffee shop, I really like this place very clean muffins, good coffee, everyone was very friendly. We'll definitely be coming back.
