Absolutely gorgeous location between a triple snow-capped peak range and a rocky hill with a creek! I got the hot chocolate and the cinnamon scone. Best breakfast pastry I've ever had! The person I was with loved the coffee and his food too. The following pictures are from a building across the street because it was higher

BEAUTIFUL location and great coffee and baked goods. Fairly good chai latte as well that you can tell is made in house. Clean and accessible bathroom is an extra plus.

What an amazing little space! This is one of the more unique mountain town coffee shops you will ever come across. Let me walk you through the set up... it is across from the Surf Hotel with a lush green-space with a bouldering rock out front. So cool. This green space / park has a bunch of tables and some trees so it is a picturesque setting. Most importantly, the coffee was insane-- they source it from the local roasters who know a great deal what regions of the world it is grown and how it has been prepared. Baristas play great music and are real pros (ask for Brooke!). And they do have an outdoor patio area on one side to take in that gorgeous Colorado blue sky. This is a top notch spot, to be sure... so if you're anywhere near BV (or even if you're not) you gotta check it out!

The haus chai was amazing! Although, they had pretty much no pastries when I stopped by which I was pretty disappointed about. Service was a little slow too. Maybe I'll try them again but I've been happier with other coffee shops in this area

If you find yourself driving through Buena Vista, make sure to stop here. The coffee is outstanding (more chocolaty-earthy than fruity, which I prefer) and this area of town is super quaint and perfect for a quick walk on the sidewalk or the paved river trail to stretch your legs before hopping back in the car. I know there are coffee spots closer to the highway, but Midland is well worth the detour.
Be aware, google maps might want you to take a short (200-foot?) dirt road to get to the shop rather than take you around. It’s not a big deal, but something to note when naving here.

Great place! The Gelato was awesome, and the expresso smelled wonderful! I got the cold brew coffee and it was really good. Go say hi to the "shop dog" Cody, he's the best! Friendly staff/owners. Will definitely stop there again!

BV never disappoints, and we constantly find great places here. Well, the Midland Stop is amazing! We stopped in for dessert after dinner across the street, and my wife and I feel in love with this place. We both had absolutely hot and delicious Chai Lattes, my wife had a single scoop of pumpkin pie gelato, and I had a Affogato: two scoops of pumpkin pie gelato with espresso poured over top. Phenomenal! And the two young folks who served us were so cool and friendly! We loved it!

Such an amazing coffee shop! The barista made amazing lattes and suggestions. The breakfast burritos were a great size and delicious. Already looking forward to going again the next time I’m in town.

This veggie breakfast burrito was tasty and a good size containing eggs , potatos, cheese, and green chilli. It's just a little pricey at about $8 including tax. The staff was very friendly. The gelato looked good, but I didn't try it. There is comfortable and pleasant shade-side outdoor seating. This would be a 5 star burrito at $4.

We didn't have the friendliest of servers, but the coffee shop is very cute, prices are very fair and coffee's good :)
PS: home-made is not spelled Homade.
