Excellent coffee, friendly staff, adorable setting. All manner of baked goods and sweets to choose from. Plenty of parking on the side, and fast WiFi.

On the road from Lake City to Denver I swung through to grab a quick pick-me-up. The staff was super friendly. Got in a conversation with 3 of them about my trip and such. The building was welcoming and cozy. The latte I got was great and I sat on the patio enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains. Loved it.

Not sure if I hit this place during a rush (2 pm on a Friday) or if they’re always busy because they’re THAT good. My iced oat milk latte was great, and the southwestern quiche hit the spot. The real reason I’m leaving this review is because I was so impressed by how this staff handled the rush! My coffee was ready freaky fast, and the quiche didn’t take too much longer, but I was really wowed by how they all worked together and spoke calmly and kindly to one another, despite what appeared to be a hectic time to me. I will be making time to stop here every time I drive through Buena Vista from now on!

Brewed coffee always includes a dark roast. They will allow space for you to add creamer and sweeteners (as well as flavorings!).

If you think the pastries look luscious, you'd be RIGHT! We enjoyed the blueberry scone, raspberry muffin, and almond twist. Pastries are a little drier than what we're used to, but that's ok because you're gonna have fantastic coffee to keep your mouth moist.

Plenty of choices on whole bean coffees to purchase in quantity. Good prices.

Dogs are welcome on the porches outside - there are even water bowls provided! And there's a picnic table at the south end of the parking lot if your fur baby needs less stimulation.

Gone to this coffee shop for many years and after I moved to Texas, I found myself missing the shop. Anytime I came back to visit, I would always stop by to grab a coffee.

Love me a mountain town coffee shop. Cinnamon roll and all their sweet treats are giant and good tasting. Only gotten spiced chai there and it’s always good. Been here many many times over the last two years. But one funny thing is they offer sandwiches and it was 10:30-10:45 when I was in there but their kitchen didn’t open till 11. There was no line. I was maybe the 4th person in the whole shop but they wouldn’t make it for me. I could literally see the cook and two other people in back just standing there talking and joking. Could of easily whipped me up the chicken salad sandwich. But oh well rules are rules I guess. Still just seemed odd to me why a small coffee shop wouldn’t want to make en exception for another item on my order with current economic times.

Great coffee shop as you enter BV, friendly staff, tasty treats and delicious coffees. A must check out if passing through.

Everything I've had here is wonderful. They are typically busy, but worth the wait. Favorite non-coffee drink is the taro boba with whipped cream. Perfect dessert drink. Bakery items are great too!

The best decaf I’ve found for using in my cold press. I’ll need to stock up on the “Decaf Sumatra” the next time I’m in Byunie. Thanks for the great service and roasting, Brown Dog!
