This small but super busy coffee shop never disappoints. The breakfast burrito with chorizo is very good and the blueberry muffins rock as well. They always have plenty of friendly staff so customer service seems to never be a problem! Always a great way to start the day!

This is my kind of place!! Awesome coffee. Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Lattes. Fantastic baked goods. Fun merch. The workers seemed like they would be fun to hang with. Make sure to try this coffee shop if you are in town or driving by.

We stayed in Buena Vista before heading back to the airport in Denver and I don't regret it one bit! We stopped in for some breakfast and coffee to the Brown Dog Coffee Company. This place is amazing. The pastries and food all looked delicious ( I got the cinnamon roll! ), they have tons of coffee products to buy and take home, shirts, gifts, and other unique items that make the experience unique. So glad we stopped in.

Nice little roadside coffee shop. We were traveling from Colorado Springs to Grand Junction and needed a coffee break so we stopped here. Busy little place but we still got our order quickly and were back on the road in no time. Friendly staff. Good coffee. We'll definitely stop back in if we pass that way again.

I wanted a hot chocolate with lots of chocolate but not too sweet. I guess the use a presweetened mix and couldn't do it.

I hadn't been in this place for a couple of few years because they were really rude to me. I have them a chance and the servers were very polite and helpful.

I got a baked treat too which was only okay. The price was high for what I got.

Cute little coffee shop with excellent view. Cold brew and carrot cake was superb!

The baristas were friendly, and the coffee was yummy! I got a vanilla latte and really enjoyed it. I also tried the tiramisu which was tasty and the flourless chocolate cake (yum!). If I go through here again I'll definitely be stopping by!

We stopped in for a coffee because it said they have boba (I'm personally a boba lover). We had a few questions for the staff there regarding peanuts (my son is allergic) and the drinks. They seems a little put off/unsure about our questions. The whole experience made us feel kind of unwelcome. The drinks however, and snacks, were delicious. I would go back for the food but hesitate because of the weird experience we had.

immediately upon entering the establishment I was greeted with a friendly smile and good morningI ordered a large caramel macchiato, which was excellent! They had a variety of breakfast pastries and quiche among other things that looks very tasty! I plan on paying them another visit anytime I'm in Buena Vista

Brown Dog is our go-to coffee shop when traveling through Buena Vista and/or Salida. There's often a line, but the staff work quickly and it's always worth the stop. The Buena Vista location doesn't have much seating, but we normally grab it to-go anyway. The drip coffee varieties are great black; cream and sugar aren't needed when the coffee is high-quality. Most importantly, the green chili is authentic Colorado/New Mexico green chili 🙌.
