Best coffee around! I order whole beans monthly, thats how good the roast is. Plus, the merch and atmosphere is great! The food is delicious as well. It does get busy during the weekday rush, so be prepared. However, the wait is very much worth it.

I have driven through Buena Vista a couple times in the last 4 years, and I have stopped for Coffee there both times. Good coffee, friendly service (though they may have been enjoying a little Rocky Mountain...), neat location. We bought espresso beans to take back home with us last week.

We got the white chocolate mocha coffee and the turkey and swiss croissant. Both were good. They were busy, but the wait wasn't bad. The employees were friendly and helpful. We will likely come back on future visits to Buena Vista.

Brown Dog has been my go to coffee shop in Buena Vista for years. Great coffee, pastries, and service.

Got a burrito and cold brew on my way out of BV to go back to Denver. Was quick and hit the spot. Being away from Main St I liked the ample parking and the ease to get in and out fast.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Not only was my milk burned and not properly steamed, the barista had the WORST ATTITUDE I've ever experienced. All because I asked for no whip, she misheard, and proceeded to throw a temper tantrum when I asked her to scrape it off. I just spend $10 on a pastry and coffee, which I don't even want now. As a business owner, don't work in coffee if you can't handle being in the weeds. And maybe work on your listening skills.

Added reply: I would be appalled if one of my employees treated a customer this way. I also would not dream of glorifying that attitude to a customer. I work a lot with coffee in this state. I'll be sure to tell everyone NEVER to go here. There are much better options that actually have good coffee and customer service.

I really enjoyed visiting this wonderful place! We were traveling through beautiful Colorado and stopped here to get some food. The staff was friendly, the sandwiches were great, and the coffee was delicious. My daughter-in-law who has visited this store for years says it is "consistently delicious!"

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast on Sunday morning. They have a wide variety of delicious homemade baked goods. They also roast their own coffee, so it was excellent as well. The staff is very friendly, the prices are reasonable, and I can recommend this location highly!

Great sitting space inside and out. Great stuff available in addition to coffee like handmade pottery and gifts. Their antler dog chews are unique and cool. The coffee is really good. If you are a fan of percolator or camp coffee, which I am, this is particularly excellent. The gorgeous freshly-baked pastries greeted me at the door (well-played). Though I felt a bit judged showing up at the crack of opening in my slept-in sweats and ordering a large latte with an extra shot (which they felt compelled to confirm twice lol), it was an excellent start to a long drive, and I will be back, whether they are pleased to see me or not. =)
