Cool River Coffee House

So good! A great alternative to your underwhelming hotel continental breakfast or a sit down place that takes a long time! You may be trying to eat healthier... and then look at the blueberry muffins. Wow! Yum! I had the special of the day and it was amazing! Quesidilla with black beans, salsa, avocado, chorizo, and a little cheese. So good! Someone had the breakfast biscuit with egg too and said it was really good! They also had the lavender latte and loved it. The staff is extremely kind and informative about the menu. Super cute but you may walk by it. Look for their sign and walk towards the back of the house! Definitely go!

$12 for two large lattes which i wouldn't even consider their large cup an actual large because the cups we got were super small. The coffee was mediocre. Needed way more sugar and flavor. I think McDonald's and star bucks has better coffee. We didn't try the food but what they had out in the clear bins looked pretty good. I would get food here but not coffee.

Wow, too much good to say about a small treasure in Breckenridge! Obviously very popular among locals, I noticed activity and discovered it tucked behind and on the side of a Main Street business, directed by an arrow sign. Indoor and outdoor seating, I chose the bar where I could watch the staff activity as well as customers. The breakfast and lunch cafe's menu featured lots of unusual items and some different twists on standards. Beverages range thru espressos, teas, smoothies, shakes, and booze! Fresh bakery breakfast & dessert items in the cases seduce everyone to take some home. Service is great while still being so laid back, you feel like family.
Diane, the very busy, hands-on owner, (who I claim as "new best friend") gives lots of consideration to everyone's taste while making it a comfortable and very friendly place. I'd be there at least once a day if I lived close by!

Most legit cafe in town. Folks are actually friendly and stoked here and not inconvenienced like some other shops. Best burritos, and best patio on the River. This is the spot you’re looking for… trust me I live here. Get a mimosa for the patio if you’re feeling sassy.

Delicious gluten free flax banana muffin with vegan chocolate chips. Super friendly staff and they bake the food themselves so they know what's in it. Excellent Americano. Cute and hidden on the other side from the main st.

Amazing spot, our favorite place to go for breakfast and coffee! Wish I could give it a 10/5. Also highly recommend their vegan/veggie options! So fresh and healthy.

Every time we are in town we make it a point to stop here. The food is always amazing and the service is awesome. My son is vegan and it can be difficult to find a place where we both can find something without either one of us having to compromise. I cannot not say enough great things about the service here. Working in the industry I can relate to usually not hearing a lot of positive feedback only negative. A massive thank you to the entire staff that works here.

Excellent experience! My family and some friends of ours went to Breckenridge for the day and after sledding decided to grab some coffee and hot cocoa to warm up. We found Cool River Coffee House on Google since we're unfamiliar with the area. We were able to park for really cheap and walked to the cute coffee shop. Diane, the awesome lady behind the counter and also the owner, was so patient with all of our orders (there were 10 of us). The coffee & cocoa was incredible and the service was just as good! Thank you, Cool River Coffee House! We'll be back!
