Cool River Coffee House

Cute, quirky coffee shop with lots of great coffee and the food was delicious! My hubby got the salmon bagel and i got the smoothie bowl. The staff is so incredibly kind and helpful. A must visit when you’re in Breckinridge. It’s so close to the river walk as well. My hubby and I grabbed our coffee and walked on the river walk with coffee in hand.

Awesome little coffee shop with great breakfast options (limited veg options but you can get anything excluding meat) and a huge selection of coffee. We were only here for breakfast but it looks like they have a huge beer selection in cans as well as some good sounding lunch options.

5/5 for the views, the friendly staff and the awesome food!

To preface, I have eaten at nearly every restaurant in Breckenridge with vegan opinions. However, Cool River Coffee House BY FAR has the very best vegan food in the entire town. Especially the veggie sandwich with vegan cream cheese. Honorable mentions go to the Vegan Oatmeal Cream Pie and the Rose and Cardamom Latte.

Yep, this is another "local" favorite place to sit, relax and have lunch. Try the daily specials with your favorite drink !! And there's a good chance that you will meet a few long time locals - be sure to say "hi" to Cliff, Tom and Michael !!!! There's way too much Breckenridge History here but, in a good way.

Best vegetarian breakfast burrito I have ever had. Most places just slap some bell peppers on eggs and call it good. This burrito was full of flavor and goodies! My latte was also exceptional. Came back every day we were here and wish I could bring this coffee house home with me!

Wonderful coffee shop and bakery. My favorite spot for breakfast and a long linger for coffee. Sitting outside is the best.

Friendly service, reasonable prices, quick service, and good food. Not ideal for sitting down with groups larger than 4. Heated outdoor seating with view of creek.

If you're a travelling kiwi and missing the flat white of home, you'll find it here at Cool River. Meshach, also a kiwi, is super knowledgeable on all things coffee, from bean to cup. Great crew.

We stopped for lunch after climbing Quandary Peak in the morning. We wanted a hearty lunch and a comfortable place to rest our feet!

I ordered the TBB Sandwich on Gluten Free Bread. The bread is made in house and the chips are also gluten free (no cross contamination). The sandwich was a large portion and exactly what I needed after climbing a 14'er. The chips were crispy and had the right amount of salt. Paired with a mimosa this was refreshing, satisfying and filling.

My husband ordered the Cerdo Picoso Sandwich. He said the sandwich was good and filling. He didn't deem it memorable. He paired his sandwich with a bloody mary. It was spicy and had balanced flavor.

If you have a big adventure in the morning, this is definitely a place to stop for lunch.
