My son enjoyed the food. We were the only customers in the place. When going to a restaurant with my family I expect to not have to listen to drama and the cussing coming from kitchen area. Just my personal preference. Not impressed with wait staff either. They used to have great staff here so that was disappointing.

Tourist trap. If you're visiting or a local don't bother with this IHOP. It's the standard food and the service is good, but it's way too expensive. Pictured is the $14 appetizer sampler. So many better options in Alamosa. Cheese sticks weren't even melted, but the waitress made it right by bringing is a fresh set.

we thought it would be a fun treat to take our kids to ihop as they USE to have kids eat free with paying entrée, well they don't have that anymore. then I ordered as kidsmeals usually come with fries... nope but for $8.99 you get 2 chicken stips and a small motts applesauce.. like seriosuly?! cheeseburger with applesauce as well for 8.99.
enough on the prices, come in the food. I order chicken strips and waffles. the chicken came out burnt, I could have chipped a tooth on how hard it was to chew. all of the chicken strips were like that. the waffles were as soggy as day old wet bread.
the only food that got an okay review is the cheeseburger my husband had.
now let's talk service. we were the only people in there right before 6 pm and our waitress only checked on us once, didn't offer us any refills for our drinks, didn't bring us an extra plate so we can give our baby some food. Didn't ask us how our food was nothing.
10/10 Do NOT reccomend this Ihop.

Slowest service EVER! I know it's due to lack on staffing but come on. Over an hour to get breakfast with barely anyone there.

Impressively clean location. Friendly staff. Really appreciated Stephanie's table service and the recommendations from Zach as well. I had the jalapeño burger with a chicken substitute but I think I will stick with the beef from now on. 😋
Clean tables, floors, and bathrooms. Swift and friendly service from all staff from front end to to the booth. Food was great quality and didn't wait long for it at all.

Creates and promotes a hostile, over-worked, underpaid work environment. Employees are written up and penalized based off of hear-say, and pressured into signing said writeups. Staff have reported being intimidated, cornered, and assaulted within areas with no camera coverage, and management refused to take any corrective action to protect their employees. Avoid this mismanaged establishment - the staff are more miserable than they look.

Girlfriend and I stopped here to charge our phones right quick, as we are on the road and greatly need the GPS. The servers were immediately facilitating and told us we could sit and that we wouldn't bother anyone.
While I was sitting, an elderly customer was obviously searching for help. She seemed exasperated after waiting and scanning the room a good 4 minutes, with tip in hand, mind you.
She needed help getting out of the chair and no one was to be found. She had to ask me. She left her tip on the front desk because nobody was there.
10 minutes later the person I believe to be the manager walks out and tells us there's a "loitering policy" and we should order the "cheapest thing on the menu".
We just straight up left due to the disrespect. I just hope they can at least treat their elderly customers with kindness. They don't deserve that treatment.
It's sad, they apparently are one of the few, if not only, restaurants in this area that had a bad covid-19 outbreak.

I don't know if they changed owners, management or just staff but it was so bad I didn't want to even pay for it. We ordered burgers. The wife got onion rings, I got fries. 45 minutes later our food arrives. The burgers are cold and both plates have onion rings. I told the waitress I ordered fries. She has them cook me fries so my burger gets even colder. On top of all this, she never asked what we wanted to drink. If this is the new IHOP standard im done with them. Update.. visited again to see if things had gotten better, they got worse. I loved the Cowboy burger in the past but with a plate full of fries I always had to get a doggie bag. Now, ha, the burger patty was the size of a sausage. I ate my burger and my fries and my wife's pancakes. Once upon a time you stood in line and waited for a seat, my last 2 visits there were only one other booth being used. They might as well shut the place down.
