Roast The Dead Coffee

Since May of 2021, I've been going to a really neat coffee shop called Roast The Dead Coffee in Yucaipa California. Think Starbucks and Dutch Bros but horror theme. This unique coffee shop easily stands out at first glance with the side of the building featuring a mural of horror icons: Freddy Kruger (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th), Michael Myers (Halloween), and Pennywise the Dancing Clown (IT), skeletons & cobwebs on the windows, and the sign above displayed as a neon light wooden plank. Entering inside the coffee house is like walking into a haunted house attraction at an Amusement Park with its animatronic monsters, props, graveyard set, and front cabin porch along with 3 TV sets for displaying horror movies & TV shows, and 80s horror movie posters. But don't be scared by its spooky props as the coffee, tea, and lemonade are all unique and original as not only are they named after references in horror cinema but they have unique flavors and combinations. My recommendations for boo-ginners are Worms Michael (strawberry vanilla with oreo crumbs & a gummyworm) and one of their newest drinks, Midsommmer (lemon velvet). Whenever you visit Yucaipa California and want to grab a cup of coffee. I highly recommend stopping at Roast the Dead. Funny enough, it is found across a Catholic Church. But hey, nothing screams a Sunday morning like grabbing a killer cup of Joe after praising the Lord. ☕️👻☕️🤡☕️🐺☕️🧟‍♂️☕️🧛‍♀️☕️🧙

Horror lovers delight! It’s Halloween any day of the year at roast the dead coffee. They have classic movie memorabilia and a tv playing clips of old movies. Very cozy spot so expect to not have room to stay as it gets crowded fast. The drinks are creative and delicious only downside is the lack of space to sit and enjoy them!

Love this place! It is a whole experience from the moment you park you are greeted by awesome artwork on the side of the building and walking in there is horror movie stuff everywhere. The staff is so nice and take their time to make your drink special it is definitely worth the wait. The drinks are so delicious and a piece of art themselves.

If you like halloween all year round this is the place foe you. Also if you like good coffee then order here too. This was awesome to come see and expeirence.

This was suggested to me by a few friends. I would describe it as a wonderful "gem-in-the-wall" place. RtD has a cool aesthetic and atmosphere. It's now my go-to place for a red velvet drink (used to get it for the holidays at a certain semi-large chain coffee and tea shop, before they stopped selling. And, wanting to support small businesses.) Friendly staff, great place for pictures and a general highlight if you're ever in the area. Go check them out!

Cool creepy place to grab some coffee. Lot's of choices and flavors.

Unique coffee/tea shop with a horror movie twist. Very photogenic and decent lighting. Establishment is clean. Wait time can vary due to under staffing. The drinks are a great concept yet hasn't been executed quite right. It lacked flavor and the whip cream is heavy in dyes and will easily stain.

Love this place! The concept is so unique and truly awesome for horror fans like myself! Always great service, a great selection of drinks, if you are ever in the area please check them out!

This place is super neat. It's very small but very well detailed everything is perfectly put in place and the drinks are very good. We truly enjoyed our time here we spent like 20 min there. Honestly I drove from palm springs to see this place and it was well worth it.

Very cute coffee shop Halloween theme year round, unique drinks and decor. A must try in the area!
