Normally I don’t stop at these side cafes/
Restaurants but the customer service and food is great! They know what they are doing when it comes to food and drinks. If anyone ever drives by I urge you to stop by this place. Give it a try.

Refreshing drinks, tasy bites, and most importantly wonderful people. We stopped by to grab a simple coffee and sandwich and and ended up chatting with Karen and her friend Christelle for an hour about the story of the Rock House, the recent wild fires, and how they're persevering through it all. It was one of those serendipitous encounters. Don't miss their delicious breakfast sandwich, four berry smoothie, and homemade lemon bars. They also do live music!

The Rock House is a hidden gem on Table Mountain. They serve delicious coffee & espresso drinks and excellent breakfast, lunch & dinner daily. The pastries and cookies are outstanding. It's also a live music venue on Saturday evenings, with beer by the can.
They suffered a major loss when most of the structures burned in the Camp fire, but they've persevered. My family has come here many times over the years, the current owners are wonderful people and we're happy to support them. I cannot recommend this mountain oasis highly enough.

This has to be one of the very best small cafes I have ever been to. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting and the original old building that surrounds the cafe is a work of historical art. If you enjoy a great cup of some of the best coffee you have ever had mixed delicious homemade food in the midst of pure history you must visit the Rock House and meet the owners Karen and David !

Live music is offered on Saturday nights from 5 to 8pm. The menu is great, full of choices. What we've eaten has always been great tasting and well served. The patio is opened for meals when it's warm out, set among the tall pines. The game room boasts of a pool table. Frankly, people really like being there.

The Rock House got hit hard by the Camp Fire in 2018 … and is trying to make a return.
Drop by and spend a few bucks if you can … it would be great to see it bloom again.
