Lattes are decent. Not much specialty flavors and the orange blossom is kind of underwhelming.

Amazing coffee great atmosphere. The place can get super packed but I guess that's not their fault. One of the best roasters around. I buy a pound of coffee here whenever I can. All the staff are super friendly too.

Was so sad the day I visited no pastries the delivery had not comin and they also had no decaf available my drink was not very hot, but the taste was very good not bitter at all, will try again on my next visit Ventura

I want to give them a rating of 3.5 but can only give a rating of 3 or 4 so I will go with a 3 but want readers to know that I am a VERY knowledgeable and picky connoisseur of fabulous coffee and most average consumers without my level of knowledge would likely give a rating of 5 or possibly a 4.

I will study and try learning more about them. A huge big deal for me is ethical sourcing of coffee beans. I inquired about the sourcing of the beans with the guy taking my order. He didn't quite know what to say so I asked if the beans are ethically sourced and he said yes, as many people would answer such a question. So I followed by asking him what ethical sourcing of beans is about to which he admitted he had no idea.

I'll copy this review and try sending it to the owner and see if he wants to buy me a cup of coffee and meet with me to help me learn more about his business and give me the opportunity to give a better informed review.

I ordered a tall latte to be able to get a first impression as it is such a popular drink. I will also try a short latte, an Americano, and 2 straight shots pulled over a cup of ice which will bring out any negative notes in a beans flavor by shocking the coffee. After all that I'll be able to do a full review.

Most coffee shops don't make it to a place with me where I order a second drink in my process so the fact that I will be going forward to do a more comprehensive review should speak volumes to the average coffee shop consumer and tell them that they should give this coffee shop a try.

Reasons for my favorable impression on my first visit: They automatically defaulted to serving the coffee in reusable ceramic rather than a disposable cup. My partner ordered a custom special drink to minimize the acid found in coffee and she had no difficulty getting a great tasting drink where most coffee shops she nearly has to make it for them. My latte was perfectly made and delicious. They have 3 bean grinders with 3 different beans used to make coffee which to me is a sign of quality. They have a cutting edge decaf coffee which I have to try and learn more about.

I am impressed on my first visit and should I get a meeting with the owner I will share a few things that if adopted will make him the hands down best coffee shop in Ventura unless I find I am unable to give a recommendation due to the sourcing of their beans.

The hard working farmer growing the beans being roasted must benefit far more than how many farmers end up selling their beans leaving them impoverished with poor medical care and educational opportunities for his family which most coffee consumers, coffee shop employee's and coffee shop owners and employers know little about.

Despite the polite girl working here,, this place sucks, watched them ruining shots over and over... They do not offer whip cream and don't order a mocha... The way over priced mocha I ordered took way too long, as the young worker exsplained she had to "make chocolate" I watched three other drinks leave with less than great shots of espresso. The chocolate was Coco powder absolutely no sugar in my mocha at all.. friends if you like your shots poured correctly and your mochas sweet don't waste your money here... It's very pretty and hipster AF that's the best part of the place the coffee isn't being very well done.

Great place to study and drink some wonderful brew. The baristas are helpful - gave me find helpful advice on nailing down my brewing at home: grind size and ratios. They have nitro cold brew on tap which is always delicious during these summer days. And I'm finding the Peruvian beans I bought there being quite tasty at home.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Ventura: conveniently located for a bunch of different places and they toast and brew amazing coffee and espresso.
