Excellent, fresh vegetarian options. I liked the black bean bowl (w/well-done) poached eggs, very tasty. I'd suggest getting the whole not the half, it's not a giant portion but just right after a morning out hiking around. Husband loved the lox, fresh & generous.

Stopped here on a road trip down the coast. Definitely not worth the stop or detour. Staff was pretty rude, food was mediocre, and the coffee was terrible (for example, I’m pretty sure the latte my wife had was just espresso with water and a splash of creamer) The bathrooms were also filthy. No idea why this place has great reviews.
If you’re really hungry and desperate for a bite it’s fine as it’s marginally better than a gas station. But that’s not a very high bar.

Very nice and quiet atmosphere and beautiful artwork on the walls. They're also gifts available and wine available within the business and an outdoor eating area also and friendly staff.

Delicious brunch! I got the savory scone special with two poached eggs and steamed greens. Very satisfying while not over indulgent. It was the perfect place to spend a Sunday morning with friends.

It's a little pricey, but worth it. Using local ingredients, healthy, organic and gluten free options, and the flavors are unique and amazing.
I'm obsessed with this place.
I've also experienced their catering services at my workplace and the things they brought us were awesome. High quality, nourishing and tasty. I totally recommend them for your next special work event /meeting.
Important Tips:
- You must spend 5 bucks to use a card here. Below that price everything's cash only... or you can start a tab :)
- 'Legend has it there are no paper cups' so if what you're craving is coffee to go, bring your own travel mug or be ready to purchase a mason jar with a unique lid or something.

Excellent breakfast. Poached eggs with warm toasted focaccia bread on the side. My husband enjoyed the fresh granola. We also had a fresh carrot cake muffin that did not dissapoint. They aim to please here.

This is such a sweet little cafe. They have a great selection of unique bagles and delicious coffee. My wife and I will visit this beautiful little place every time we are in Humboldt County from now on. Also, the art on the walls is fantastic!

The service was slow and the food mediocre. I'm all for environmentally conscience businesses, but this place expresses their principles with arrogance. I read reviews that reflected this sentiment before eating here...and I doubted their veracity. Boy was I wrong! Some aspects of their menu were insane- if you order toast, you have to pay for butter! Jam on the side of your toast is a dollar! Also, they only appear to offer poached eggs. On the plus side, they had lots of healthy vegetarian and vegan options, and seemed open to people with gluten free diets as well. If you wish to have a drink to go, be sure to bring your own "vessel".

We came here our last day in Trinidad early July 2021. Delicious little breakfast place I would recommend anyone in town check the hours and stop by if you can. Plus a cute dog walks around and let's you pet it!!

Stopped in for a mocha and saw the cinnamon coffee cake and just had to try it. Both were fantastic!...add the whip, it's worth the extra! Very friendly people and fast service. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the atmosphere was uncomfortably casual...the server was wearing sweatpants and the place could have used a little cleaning.
