Cafe Dolce, food quality was amazing. We got 3 sandwiches total and one breakfast waffle platter. Everything tasted really fresh and delicious. Price was arround 70.00 for 4 adults to eat with a drink each no sides or chips included. Service quality was casual average, nothing above and beyond pretty much just took the order and brought it outside to you. Reason I only gave two stars is we had a really bad out side experince. There is limited shade but we had some at our table, but the amount of bees that swarmed arround us and our food, after about 5mins of trying to eat we had to get our food in bags and retreat to the car to try and salvage our meal. They had no to go boxes only paper bags. Unfortunately if we came back we would not eat here, nor we would go to any outside dinning place either. If you are buying to take and go might be the place for you. If our experince outside had not been a disaster it would of probably been a 4 star review. Also felt like they were very un family friendly. Everyone knows kids dont eat much. The kids menu was 10.00 a plate for just a hot dog or a grilled cheese or a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich.. ... so I just shared my meal with my child. Just fyi for you if you have little ones.....

Loved that this cafe opens at 6:30am on a Sunday. Made it convenient for us to grab a sandwich for our six hour ride home.
This cafe sells everything from pastries, boba, ice cream, gelato, coffee, breakfast, panini and sandwiches. They had special coffee flavors like coffee toffee, Java chip, white mocha, and other flavors besides basic coffee like other cafes in town.
There was only one guy working. The lady before us ordered 4 coffees and two sandwiches so that took awhile. He seemed a little grumpy and was short with us. He also didn’t wear a mask.
I got a chicken chipotle panini. Basically chicken, cheese, Mayo, lettuce, honey mustard, roasted tomato and avocado. It was American cheese, I wish they asked us what cheese we wanted. Then a side of pickles.

We passed by this place before heading back home and it was incredible. So many options to choose from! Delicious matcha latte and baklava pastries.

Everything was incredible!! We had the Mexican Cocoa latte and hazelnut latte and they were both so silky and SO tasty! For breakfast we ordered the bacon and egg burrito and the ham and egg sandwich, eggs cooked to perfection and everything had so much flavor, including the tasty salsa. To go, we got a green smoothie and a green juice, and they were both so yummy and refreshing. And I can’t forget to mention the baklava that they gave me a sample of!! Hands down, BEST BAKLAVA EVER. Perfectly flaky and crunchy, and not overly sweet, it was the perfect proportion of honey 🤤👌🏻 we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Solvang!!

The latte we ordered was surprisingly good. Baklava was also one of the best ones I have had. Crispy, fresh, not overly syrupy or sweet, all just the right amount. The pricing is also very fair for such a decent coup of coffee and sweets. The seatings outside are also cozy and pleasant to enjoy.

I tried to find good coffee for the morning and came here because on the pictures it looks amazing. But that’s what we’ve got here. And also it’s pretty expensive for this kind of food

The Mediterranean panini was PHENOMENAL. I snuck a bite from my boyfriend’s avocado toast as well which also hit the spot. The Maamoul (walnut pastries) are a Lebanese specialty and are delicious! We would get out of our way to come back here again!

I know Americans are obsessed with customer service but from what I’ve seen people are conflating curtness with rudeness. Someone also gave this place 2 stars because BEES HAPPENED. What are even reviews these days.
As far as food goes, which is the primary thing I am concerned with when reviewing a food establishment, it is incredibly delicious. The pistachio baklava is the best I’ve ever had. Yea, it’s a little pricey, but that’s what happens when you eat out sometimes. If I made food this good I’d charge a lot too.
