Love this cafe. It’s a must any time I’m in the area. The Turkish coffee is incredible, but so are the pastries and sandwiches. Sam (the owner) is friendly, accommodating, and goes above and beyond. He always remembers us. During the pandemic, Cafe Dolce became one of our favorites. They fought hard to not discriminate, to keep things as normal as possible, and make sure people were safe and happy. So grateful for Sam and his entire team!

Lured by such inviting signs and the cute corner so off we had the unexpectedly sumptuous lunch! The salad was fresh and so is the salmon with it. The minestrone soup here is like no other that I can still remember the exact taste. Kid’s sandwich was also good (I have a picky eater). They also serve gelato here but I didn’t have any more room.
The only con was that I got an extra order that i didn’t mean to put in. Have them review your order before paying just to be sure.
The public restroom is close by, bike rentals in the same complex and the visitor’s center is right behind it.
Highly recommend this place

This was by far my favorite eating/drinking establishment in Solvang! The staff are very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. First stop was for a cappuccino and latte and some raspberry gelato that was very good. Not super sweet and very creamy. We tried a sampler of their baklava which was the best I’ve ever had. Nice and crispy. Just perfect! Not overly sweet and syrupy like some.
Our second stop was to try the Turkish coffee. We’d never had it before but were pleasantly surprised. It was rich and caramel like. No sugar added though. This place is a must try if you’re in town.

Small little bites place with good food. At first glance you think its a rather small spot with limited menu options but when you step inside, you notice the wide assortment of breakfast and lunch choices. We wanted to give it a try since everything else was so slammed with long waits for breakfast/brunch.
Here’s what we ordered:
- Turkish coffee (slightly bitter with a slight sweet taste.)
- Smoked salmon and egg sandwich (surprisingly really delicious and fresh. Eggs were cooked well and salmon was really tasty. The avocado slices was a nice add on too.)
- Popeye Açaí Bowl (very delicious and refreshing. Helped to balance the saltiness of our sandwich and bitterness from the coffee.)
Staff was friendly and it was awesome eating outside without having to deal with hectic crowds. I will admit it was surprising seeing their gelato and ice cream stand, not sure if they need it as it makes it feel less a breakfast place, but don’t let that turn you away. We still really enjoyed the food. Overall, we definitely recommend checking out Cafe Dolce for a nice meal with family and friends. Enjoy!

The owner is 1000 percent customer service oriented. I will keep coming back every time just because he was so accommodating to us. This place has so much variety, our breakfasts were delicious and we didn't have to wait in line for hours. Don't waste your time in line, just head straight over here!

We come here every year for the past 10 years. First stop when we get to town. Some business' go downhill and are never as good as you remember. Service slacks and quality is cheapened. Not Cafe Dolce! It gets better every year! Old favorites are still amazing , and new things to try. The owner Sam is always there and making sure everybody is happy! He knows how to run a great business! Make sure you don't miss this Gem in Solvang Ca!

this was one of the only few places open at christmas. we waited for more than an hour, the menu prices are misleading: they put unedited signs outside and then have prices hiked up once you're inside. There was also trouble looking for places to sit at, but the food was pretty good at least, they have breakfast and panini and baklava which would be the fastest service out of everything. not too bad, would recommend going when it's not super busy. quality of service was also affected by the amount of customers at the time.

The vanilla custards Gelato reminds me of Mexican rompope. It was delicious!! Had a drip coffee, which was a but on the light side and a sandwich. Everything was great!
