The croissant breakfast sandwich is really good and so was the vanilla latte, dark roast coffee.
But I was a little disappointed with the veggie sandwich, avocado toast & the blueberry lavendar latte, it lacked the flavors a little.
Staff is good, ambience is nice.

Good sandwiches. The tortilla chips we not very good. They were bland and without flavor. They need to find something else to substitute chips.

Really nice little cafe with tables inside and outside.
Their breakfast is good, service is fast and staff is friendly.
They are making great coffee (and selling coffee beans too).
This cafe is dog-friendly and has water bowls outside and some dog treats inside.
It opens early so it is definitely good candidate for breakfast.

The coffee was good. Do not get the spicy California breakfast burrito however. It was a over sauced mess. Couldn’t even eat half of it.

Their coffee is always delicious! They have great pastries and their sandwiches always hit the spot. A great stop if you are hungry and tired after a long day out on the bike

Family owned coffee house in the center of downtown Saratoga. Indoor and outdoor seating, nice selection of coffee and teas, incredible cakes and pastries by the slice. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is a typical coffee house (not like a chain) with town regulars.

Nice neighborhood cafe with plenty of outdoor seating. I've been several times, they make a great bacon, egg, and cheese sandwhich (see photo). Coffee is decent but nothing special. If you come early parking is okay but can be a challenge most times. Worth a try.

The coffee is great and reasonably priced. The food prices are insane, definitely misleading not to have prices on the menu. I bought a 14$ breakfast burrito, food and coffee for 2 costs me over 60$, that's ridiculous. I'll only ever be returning here for the coffee.

The coffee is twice the price as everywhere else in the bay area, but at least they are allowing folks to add cream themselves. Not best for preventing spread of COVID, but I think it's high time for rest of the coffee shops to do the same. As a result of this, I got perfectly prepared coffee. And the location was very nice :)

What a wonderful Cafe! Sitting in Saratoga, with rains outside, looking at the hills and the clouds, sipping hot coffee - takes me back to my vacation memories! But this is just another day, a morning coffee in the wonderful Big Basin Cafe. Tons of locals chat and catch up here, and enjoy the wonderful hospitality on offer. I drank the house coffee - medium roast, and loved the flavors coming through. We also tried the Veg Empanada, as well as the Caprese sandwich, and both were delicious! In all, this is a great place to sit and relax, read a book, enjoy the vibes, and soak in the beauty called Saratoga!
