We went out of our way to get to this coffee because everyone told us this was the best...well 3 messed up orders and 2 tepid coffee's later. I wish I could agree. The flavor is good but I simply can't appreciate it because it's no warmer than spit.

Extremely cool atmosphere. The kind of spot to get to early for a quick pick-me-up on a day trip. Extremely good coffee for the price. The place is near a lot of other food venues and attractions so definitely a place to visit.

Super cozy, friendly staff and good coffee. Recommended to visit!

Great coffee. Latte is my favourite. They make a latte with homemade egg nog in the fall/winter that sounds incredible. It does sell out quickly though. Very friendly staff and nice outdoor seating.

One nice thing about Lulu's is that there is a variety of choices on the menu. Then again, after receiving consistently lousy service, poor quality food, and mediocre drinks, I am pretty much over it.
In reality, the quality at
just isn't there.
That is to say, I used to really luv this place with its quaint building and quiet garden, yet good old memories don't necessarily equal a good coffee shop!
The lack of customer service is just embarrassing.
It's too bad that the place just isn't very clean either.
Seriously, have to admit that the overall quality of this place has really gone down over the years. Waaay down.
All told, really wish I didn't have to give such a negative review but regrettably this lousy place truly deserves it.
Disappointing!

This place is a staple of downtown Santa Cruz. When I lived here I went at least twice a week. Everything is good. The ambiance, the live music at night, the drinks, WiFi, food, service- it’s all great.
Some of my favorites are: the bowl of soul, a giant bowl of tea made with steamed soy milk and honey, dusted with cinnamon and their iced chicory cold brew coffee.
Best seat in the house is through the back door in the small garden area.

Amazing selection of coffees, teas, pastries, and lunch items. The coconut cream latte is absolutely divine. It's a great place to go if you're working on a computer, there are plenty of tables and the outside section in the back is beautiful and quiet most of the time. Get one of their punch cards if you go often enough, every eleventh cup is free!

Great coffee, best selection of additions in town for your coffee along with half and half, younger crowd of students, nice staff, variety of seating, and a generally nice place. However, wifi is awkward and timed, gets too crowded and hot inside at times, and sometimes hard to focus if you want to do work. Still one of the best coffee shops downtown.

Not happy with the taste if the coffee and ordered the pork breakfast burrito and was insulted when discovered they put in Vienna sausage as the pork. Hardly any eggs and the nerve to charge so much. Never going there again.

They are always out of breakfast tea. Not that hard to stock. The coffee for me had a weird aftertaste. Beautiful building , but after 3 tries I am not going here again. The two stars are for the building.
