Hidden House Coffee - Santa Ana

Not easy to see off the street, this place is perfect for parking in downtown Santa Ana and hanging out with friends. It has great parking and pretty darn good coffee. Hopefully they’ll have an immersive experience dialed in the future!

HHC makes good use out of the rustic building it inhabits. The coffee roasters/press is part of the decor, and the bakery is visible behind glass windows. Like any modern coffee shop, it's wifi accessible and stuffed with a variety of Millennials on their device. The drink list is simple and the Chai I ordered was creamy and smooth.

Be aware that parking can be a bit of a challenge as they have only a few spots in the adjacent lot.

Got an iced matcha latte. It was as expected! During covid times great that they have this huge spaced out shady backyard. Good for hanging out, working and drinking coffee outside. Highly recommend

my favorite hhc, i like the original but this location is SO BIG it's awesome. employees are friendly for the most part, there are some that are not as helpful. the coffee is great, i love to just get the drip hot coffee. my favorite is the peru and the guatemalan blends. although I'm not a huge fan of the over coffee, I would say it's an acquired taste because it's very fruity, more so than normal.

update: maybe it was just the staff today but they weren't too friendly and it felt like a toxic environment. also their espresso was very fruity so if you like that then this is your place

The vibe of the place was good. I chose to sit outside and the Wi-Fi connectivity was poor. Nice place to hang out but not work.

Best specialty coffee and exquisite pastries to perfectly pair with.

I liked the idea of an in house roaster, I loved that the pastries were made in house. Latte taste like a blonde latte from Starbucks. Pastries were good, just needs some refining.
