This place is great to stop by in the morning. They are fast, there is plenty of parking, and the coffee is really good! (I typically get the cold brew). Their space is also great for hanging out to chat or work on your laptop.

The atmosphere is everything. It's truly hidden lol because I almost missed it. I love the bar seating (which have outlets đ) and the outside patio. The staff are friendly and gave quick service. And to top it all off the music was perfect which made everything come together. I had a latte which was great too (with a little honey) and HHC offers alternative milk (I had almond milk) which they offer it to you in a big mug.

Best coffee house in OC. Friendly staff, great coffee and beautiful setting. Baked goods are a must and there 12 ounce bags are perfect for home.

My wife and I went to HHC this morning and got a cinnamon roll, mocha, and oat milk latte. The cinnamon roll was fresh out of the oven and was transcendent! I have seldom had a baked item this good from anywhere! The mocha and latte were great and the service was lovely. I love this little place a couple blocks from home. Keep it up HHC.

Cool shop, definitely hidden. Really good Almond Croissants! Coffee is alright but everyoneâs taste is different. I feel as though the staff doesnât always make people feel welcome. Also theyâve gotten my order wrong a couple times Iâve come here. Every time I ask for Iced Dirty Vanilla Chai but never get the shots in it.

I had a latte with the alternative milk option. Quite pricey as must hip and trendy coffee shops charge. Iâm quite a coffee pero son and splurge on lattes from time to time since i have to pay extra for milk alternatives. The place is cute but the coffee was a miss. Their espresso was so bitter i could barely drink my latte. It was a quick butter tase upon pressing my lips to the mug and then the sip confirmed the beans were gross. I did get a cute profile picture but not worth my $6. The staff wasnât friendly but I shouldâve complained instead of forcing bitterness down.

Great coffee, great atmosphere. If you closed your eyes and thought of a perfect coffee shop this would be it.

Great coffee! They roast their own coffee and they definitely nailed it! The ambiance is totally laid back and hip. Patio is a great place to study, very quiet and peaceful. A must to visit for those coffee addicts!

There are better coffee shops around. This particular shop lacks in a few areas. There is so much potential here though! First, you have to park on the street. Second, there is a huge patio but too much concrete. Trees and bushes have been planted which offsets how much concrete there is on the patio but that means more bugs, unfortunately. I had to kill several ants while trying to eat, I lost count on how many I saw/killed that was crawling on the table I was trying to eat and do work on. Also, the patio needs more seating/tables... I would recommend bigger tables for more work space and large umbrellas to provide more shade. I also would recommend gaining pest control for the patio as well. Also with the patio (and this also has to do with customer service...), my drink took about 6-7 minutes to make (maybe even longer). The reason Iâm bringing this up is I donât want to stand around waiting for my drink especially when my food is ready within a couple minutes. I want to immediately find a table and sit while waiting, and had intentions of sitting on the patio. It doesnât appear to have a mic outside to inform customers that their drinks are ready to be picked up at the counter, so an employee came out to tell me my drink was ready. So I had to get back up to go get my drink from inside... if you are going to have an employee come out to tell me this, please just be productive and bring my drink to me. I saw someone walk around the patio a few times to pick up empty cups and plates, so you guys are allowed to come out to the patio... just found it really odd my drink wasnât just handed to me outside if I told the cashier that my order was for here and not to-go. Other coffee shops do this. Third, their food options are only okay. I did try an egg and cheese croissant which was okay. Also, no soy milk option and your only coffee flavoring is vanilla? WHAT??? What about hazelnut? What about caramel (my favorite)? This is a coffee shop that doesn't even have caramel?? I'm so confused. Lastly, the price point for everything is too expensive for the average quality, especially compared to other shops in the area. The average price I should pay for my same order, no matter where I go, should be $11-$12 before tipping... my order here came to almost $16. I did add an extra star because it does have a slight speakeasy feel from the outside and has a great look on the inside... just lacks, like I already mentioned. Again, lots of potential to be good, but to not have caramel at a coffee shop and to pay more than average for just average coffee and is crazy and is instantly a âno-goâ for me. I actually considered turning around and leaving to go to my other coffee shop, but stayed to give this place a chance.
