Lokum (meaning Turkish Delight) and I found each other by pure serendipity. Such a beautiful ambiance with beautiful dining tables and exquisite chandeliers very much pleases the esthetician in every person who visits. There are Turkish coffee pots and tea sets; Turkish jewelry and decorative items. The menu has vegetarian and gluten free options; herbal tea, coffee and baklava. The delights taste divine; each one of them has a splendid taste- you can’t decide which one bedazzled you more. Of all the places I’d love to go again for a bite, this surely eclipses the rest on the list.

It was my first in a Turkish coffee shop, not in Turkey. I told them that I learned to weave with the Ghiordes Turkish rug knot right here in San Luis Obispo, California where Lokum arrived downtown.

Very unique pastasio treats. Interesting artifacts front Turkey. Worth the stop in off the main drag.

A dizzying variety of creative Turkish delight options and many tasty baklava flavors! The friendly staff give samples so you can try flavors ranging from hazelnut chocolate to pomegranate rose. There are richer creamy flavors as well as lighter citrussy options. It's pretty expensive, but a little Turkish delight goes a long way, so you'll probably end up packing up some of your purchase for later. It's also worth a visit for the interior alone, with glittering lamps and a wall full of interesting decorations for sale, from ceramic cats to coffee pots.

This place! Gorgeous vibes and the best treats and drinks! I'm from out of town so unfortunately I can't come here every day but if I could I would! Loved that they sold Turkish wares as well! Just 11/10 place, a must visit!

Stopped by with family for an after dinner treat and we all loved the experience! All of the Turkish delight was so good on its own, but even better with some Turkish coffee! It’s a must see place if you’re visiting SLO. I’ll be frequenting more often for coffee, tea and yummy desserts!

Very friendly staff, impossibly beautiful interior. Only tried the baklava but it's very good. Would come back to try their Turkish coffee.
