Academic Coffee

Love the vibes here. My only real complaint is that they don't prioritize serving drip so you could wait 20 minutes for a black coffee. Coffees are small and pricey but the roast is quality. Super friendly people here.

A cute little coffee shop with excellent baked goods. Their mint coffee is really nice too, but nothing in comparison to the mint mojito philz makes. However this coffee shop is a great alternative to the more crowded Philz shop.

Great coffee shop that offers variety of drinks made really well. They also use my favorite brand Oatly so extra point for them haha.
They didn’t have the pastry so that’s as a bummer but they had some basic donuts which did the job for the morning.

Excellent, carefully crafted coffee drinks, and unique pastry treats. Try the mochi muffin!

It’s a special treat when I go trade in my growler for a fresh one for the week. And, speaking of special treats, I’m a huge fan of stained wheat’s exquisite pastries.

Probably the best coffee place in SJ. Super friendly staff! Offers takeout coffee with pre-order during the pandemic, as well as pastry items and other things. I got a french press from them as my former one broke.

Phenomenal coffee and drinks here. Staff is amicable and local owners are fantastic folks. Grabbed a delicious honey jalapeño latte!

Was looking for a good craft coffee shop while visiting town, and ended up with the best latte I've had in ages. Cool vibe and design. Very polite staff who obviously knew what they were doing. As a former barista I would absolutely recommend this place.

Great tasting coffee, seems to be of higher quality than other coffee shops. I really liked their pastries as well. Parking can be a little tight though.
