Portside Coffee & Gelato

I walked up to them at around 10am on Monday morning. 10/25/21

Young lady at the counter taking my order and payment started off as kind but as I continued to order with my husband (someone who doesn’t drink coffee) she seemed to get annoyed and would then ignore what I said to speak directly to my husband. My husband was speaking to me and then I’d speak to the young lady. I reached for my wallet and coins spilled everywhere I tried to laugh it off and she gave me the biggest death stare. I still left a tip hoping to spread a better mood and kindness.my friend goes up to order next and explains how the very same worker gave him polite service and a wonderful interaction.

I just feel that if I’m a paying customer don’t treat me like trash or beneath you. Do better. I’m not returning which is a shame because it’s a lovely shop.

Great coffee! Had a chance to enjoy a latte while waiting for a table next door one chilly evening. Surprised by the quality of service and products they offered. I was pleased with my overall experience and would recommend visiting to grab a beverage or gelato to enhance your stroll along the bay front! The parking is 3 hour paid with a meter you will put your license plate into so snap a photo of it if you don’t have it memorized.

The best!!! People are very nice, and welcoming. I had some treatments done and advised no sun exposure yet. I ask them I'd they can cover us with the huge umbrella with stand and ohh boy that guy just push it and fix it to gave us the best cover that very sunny 76 f. degree that time. Foods really good. The best service and best team!!! Cheering for them!

Good coffee and pastries. I've never ordered their breakfasts, so I can't comment. We love sitting in the dome. Nice views, comfortable seating.

It's a small coffee shop near the main road, and It has a nice ambience. They serve a few desserts but have the best lava cake and coffee. The servers are also attentive and always so polite. I will drop by there again when we come back and recommend the coffee shop to my friends and family!

Stopped by here late night while we strolled along the water. It was busy but still took an insane amount of time to make the latte we ordered. Latte was good, definitely. Would've liked to spend less time waiting amidst the crowd.

I hate gelato. And I will encourage that you get it here because it’s good. :) Coffee isn’t bad either and I’m very picky with coffee. Service is efficient. Great spot to grab a coffee and gelato with friends and family I’m showing around.

Two stars because tables for seating are very dirty. No one has clean the old food and sauce between the slats for a while. 😬 coffee and breakfast are okay.

It's hard to rate badly because their pricing is so good. I tried an iced latte and matcha latte here but the latte tastes more like Americano. Like water not really milk. So I don't know what to say. It's fine - but I wasn't sure if I was having Half-Americano or a latte😂 Matcha latte was too sweet for someone like me who doesn't expect it to have sugar inside. My husband loved it though.
