I love this shop! Great Doughnuts/treats & great coffee. Also.. amazing MERCH! I will admit that Coffee is always hit or miss, it's either amazing or okay but overall love this place & will always be one of my favorites. Buying Whole beans is always affordable here which is a plus.

Very nice and modern coffee shop. I ordered a cappuccino, which I liked a lot as well. Baristas were okay. My overall experience was good.

On a whim, I decided I wanted to try out Dark Horse, as I had passed by it many times. Can I just say the atmosphere, the staff, the coffee, the prices, the bagels, everything, I LOVE. My boyfriend and I now go every Friday on a date for coffee and bagels at our favorite coffee shop. I must say as well, my boyfriend hates coffee (typically), until we started going to Dark Horse, so there's that. Also, staff at both dark horse locations are always so friendly, helpful, and honestly make me laugh for the day which I appreciate. Dark Horse - thank you for existing, you make my Fridays.

Friendly, delicious, and unique!!! AND THAT RASPBERRY LEMON DONUT IS BANGING (aka really good). Go and enjoy a donut or a cup of coffee before it blows up! Trust you need this in your life.

One of the better coffees in San Diego. The coffee is really smooth. I am not a cold brew guy but I hear it is really good. Great staff. Not much seating in the location but there is some seating areas outside as well which is nice most of the year. Parking is s little tight but the coffee is worth it.

The best coffee place of all time hands down best people ever that work here, great coffee, food, merch, and smiles all around. Great atmosphere, vibe and local feel. I go here everyday and it never disappoints me. Great place to meet up with someone or just hang out and study, also they have great tastes in music that they play here and there is also an outdoor area you can sit. I’ve been to the other locations they have and they are good as well. Who-ever does their branding does an amazing job too. Thanks to the brothers that own this place and the amazing staff you’ve hired.

I got an Americano and it was very well made. It was so good that when I accidentally left it in the car all day long, put it in the fridge over night and drank it in the morning, it was absolutely delicious!

Had the salted maple: Delicious. Friendly staff.

Good luck visiting. They pick and chose when they are going to be open - maybe phone ahead to be on the safe side because there are no other decent coffee shops in the area. V. Disappointing.

UPDATE: They said they closed early because an employee had been hurt, however, they closed early yesterday and also last week. Basically, if you’re going to go, phone ahead just in case somebody has “hurt” themselves or whatever.
