Toro Place Cafe

Incredibly friendly and casual roadside diner with a lovely patio and kitschy decor. The avocado benedict on the breakfast menu is excellent, and portions are huge.

Toro Place Cafe is a local breakfast/lunch hotspot. Been coming to Toro Cafe for 20+ years and have always been more than happy with the food and service. Chicken fried steak, eggs and country potatoes with Pepper Plant hot sauce, unreal. Homemade cinnamon rolls on sat/sun. This morning changed it up and got Huevos Rancheros Chile Verde con papas, fantastic! Always a fun place to stop and have a good time.

Good roadside cafe. Nice fresh salads. Coffee shop next door is also very good.

if you don't want to wait in line and you want to go out of your way down Highway 68 you'll not be surprised with the beautiful weather and scenery and just rustic but local a little Mom and Pop Shop has good food and they serve great cocktails do yourself a favor tried once and you'll understand what I'm talking about 3 out of 5 cuz I don't want nobody going there hahaha

Food is great! But the prices are ridiculously expensive. I can only afford it once a year.

Great food and friendly service. We ear here on a regular basis. Toro Place Cafe always has a full parking lot during lunch hour for a reason. The service is excellent although the prices are a bit high for a cafe, although not prohibitively overpriced.

Burgers are delicious, service is nice too. Close to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Good place for a pit stop. More parking in the back.

Called to put in a to go order. Got put on hold for 10 min. Sounded like someone just put the receiver down and didn't mute the line. Got tired of holding, hung up and couldn't call back because the phone was still off the hook. Very inefficient and unprofessional.

Cozy place with delicious breakfasts. The dining patio is charming. The portions are just right. The entire staff was welcoming.

This place have some decent food, but it's very expensive. Some of the stuff in the back is some pretty neat International stuff but again is also pretty expensive. I will say you should try the almonds that are there they are crazy good.
