Toro Place Cafe

This is just a road side diner with great omelets and hamburgers. Their hash browns and rolls would grace the menu of more expensive restraunts. It haa a nice out door patio.

The place has more character than any other diner in thw area.

Nice, Historic Cafe. Good food, affordable prices. Nice staff. My only gripe is that they are only open for breakfast and lunch, which makes it difficult to find time to visit.

It's kind of a tiny spot, and very busy on weekends, but definitely worth the wait if you have the time...

This is a nice stop on highway 68 on the way to the Monterey peninsula but they are not open all day. I think only for breakfast and lunch. The food is always as good as home cooking can get.

Always love Toro Place Cafe. Live in Hollister & always stop at Toro on the way home when we are in Monterey. Best hamburgers anywhere, best service, friendly staff & reasonable price. Can't beat it.

Quaint country cafe. They were slammed and we still got our food pretty quickly, although they did forget our toast. Hashbrowns were done perfectly and bacon was that perfect spot between burnt and undercooked.

Wonderful breakfast and lunch diner on highway 68. A true local establishment that has excellent food and daily specials. The cinnamon rolls are great!
