Can’t really say enough good things about these guys. The coffee is great, and the staff is very knowledgeable. They took the time to teach me a bit about their lineup of coffees and their process. Definitely my new go to coffee in Sacramento.

This is not Starbucks. If you like good quality coffee prepared correctly then don't hesitate to stop here. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always looking to help. Coffee and espresso is prepared with care with a focus on quality over speed.

Stumbled across this place while walking my dog, and I'm so glad I did. Being my first time here, the barista helped me out understand the menu (despite how simple but amazing it is) and had my latte ready in no time.Although it isn't dog friendly on the inside, they do have water bowls all around their patio, and also hand out dog treats at the counter!

Great roasters and a really nice vibe to the whole shop. Their nitro cold brew is deliciously smooth, as well as pretty much everything on their menu. The staff is always happy to explain anything and answer questions, even to people with the least coffee expertise.

The East Sacramento Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters location is amazing. I always get iced coffee and unlike Starbucks, I don't have to add any sugar or cream to make it taste good. It's perfect every time. The environment is warm and inviting, it's very relaxing, almost zen-like. I haven't experienced anything like it from any of the other Specialty Coffee Shops in Sacramento.

Come for the beans not the environment. Great coffee but not a place to work or study. Classy affluent atmosphere, but I wouldn’t use cozy to describe this shop. No wifi, no outlets, and seating is mostly rigid and reminds me of a bar more than a coffee shop. Cool merchandise. I’m gathering that the primary mission of this establishment is to sell and curate bulk quality coffee. Attracting customers to this location for repeat visits is still a goal, but not for extended stays (suitable for 30 minutes or less, meetings/breaks/gift shopping). I wonder about their commitment to sustainability.

The owner (I’m assuming) is very knowledgeable but tries to flex it too much. I get a hovering feeling and almost a pushy-ness or hard sell attitude at times. I could be wrong!

Fast and friendly service! Seating isn't comfortable but the space is designed well. If it's your first time, make sure to get the chocolate 🎏 coffee is great, ask for the single origin if you're getting an espresso.

When I heard a local coffee shop was owned by River Park neighbors I was excited. I made this my choice when my turn came to select the spot for my weekly work from a coffee shop group. I thought the place looked really cool and the roasting coffee smell was interesting, although I'm not sure if that would hold after a few hours. I ordered my coffee and asked for the outlet locations and the wifi info. Then the let down. No outlets or wifi. Excuse was socializing. So they ignore how many people socialize (connected), students studying, teleworkers or just business meetings of all types. That struck me as a very specific exclusive vibe/message wrapped in the "this is a place to socialize in the way we think is best". So we haven't been back.

Nice ambiance. Steam punk type of place. Not too many people around. Nice Nitro Coffee pretty smooth but has a nice kick. Management is very friendly and helpful. Nice place to come to study for a while. There are No outlets to if you are going to be using any electronic device for an extended period of time bring an extra battery.

I have had coffee here a few times now, and for good reason. The atmosphere is comfortable and service has always been great. I love the outside seating,being the people watcher that I am.
