Super impressive ambience and relaxed coffee shop.

Vanilla Latte with Almond milk is to die for.

We stopped here on our way to Yosemite and loved the atmosphere and decor. The vintage books and typewriters make the place interesting! Staff was friendly and quick.

They certainly need more Coffee places like Inklings. There's so much character and charm. After spending half an hour in the shop, you'll forget that you are in Pleasanton. It feels more European than anything else.

Nice vibes, especially if you’re a fan of The Lord of the Rings or C.S. Lewis.

I frequent Inkling and always want to like this place. The staff always rocks. They’re great. The facilities are always so dirty. I spent the whole summer coming here almost daily in 2021, and there was a pink mask and stains on the outdoor furniture that literally did not get cleaned for months. I had to go in and finally ask them to come clean to get them to do it, and the mask remained for another month or more. Their teas are really bitter, and I get the impression from watching them brew the ice team in the same stained plastic container, that they don’t wash their equipment as much as you’d think they would- leading to a terribly bitter aftertaste. Overall, I love the vibe and staff here, but they need to up their cleaning game a bit. 😬🫣

The only legit coffee shop in Pleasanton.
Checks out all boxes for a good coffee spot. Offer good coffee, decent pastries, good place to work.
Haven’t tried any food items.
Only negative thing would be the cold brew, just very bitter for my taste.

Didn't feel particularly welcomed as a new person in the area, ordered and has several regulars get theirs well before me and had to ask twice before they just said my drink was made wrong and needed to be remade. They did offer a freebie for next time but think ill choose elsewhere.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Inklings! The caramel bourbon latte is the thing dreams are made of, creamy, delicious, just the right level of sweetness. Also the baristas are so friendly, and the shop is very well decorated.
