Spearhead Coffee

I really appreciate Spearhead, best coffee for sure. The one and only complaint I have which I have discussed many times with the crew is the loud music. I have a difficult time focusing on my thoughts, my internet work, and conversations with friends. Perhaps having the background in music I do, my age, and the fact I live in the mountains of Big Sur with a view of the ocean at 3200 ft and NO neighbors inters into the picture. Good coffee house's use music as ambiance background not a concert.
This is the only complaint I have and it may not be a problem with you. Staff is great, management are like ole friends who actually miss me when I am on the road teaching school and Spearhead is my first stop when I arrive in Paso Robles Ca.

Good coffee - horrible customer service!
Very unfriendly people. Then they have the odasity to sell merch of their store.
Can't make a store iconic on this type of treatment of people.

This is strictly for their non dairy mochas.

I've stopped here a few times when passing through PR, and I need to like.. not. Hence the review.

While it's great they have a selection of non daily liquids, they're best described as "nut waters." Very low calorie liquids that won't froth and have no body or flavor.. including almond breeze, which I believe has been challenged for not having enough almond product in it to actually call itself almond milk. One review site likens it to water logged cardboard.

Over seven dollars with a one dollar tip and i'm left with something that tastes strongly of corn syrup over any other flavor.

Maybe its your bag, but i'll try the other place in town next time. Or just not get coffee drink.

Suggestion: oatly, and califa's barista series are great for non dairy coffee drinks.

Awesome coffee, decent price, cool environment, and great customer service. The only negative: The cups are too small. 😥

Tasty locally roasted coffee in a sleek space. Cappuccino was well-balanced and satisfying; gingerbread latte, just sweet enough, hit the right holiday notes.

We got one espresso and one macchiato. The underlying espresso is good, but slightly under-extracted.

I ordered an iced coffee a couple of times recently. Each time I was very happy. A good coffee is hard to find but I'm beginning to think I can count on Spearhead!

Spearhead is easily my favorite place for coffee in Paso Robles. Delicious and fresh. Roasted on site. Friendly and capable service too. Don't go anywhere else, go here!

Yummy coffee. They have a lot of fun concoctions that were fun to try. I'll be back.

Love the space. Friendly baristas, good coffee.
