Spearhead Coffee

Nice coffee shop with plenty of seating. I might have not tried the right thing, but the Aztec mocha was just okay. The flavor balance was a little off but, again, that was just one menu item. Also if you want to grab a bite get there early - the pastries run out before noon. If you want a laid back place to meet up with friends this will do the trick.

Spearhead coffee shop was a perfect way to start the day with a coffee beverage of your choice and a yummy piece of bakery. They roast their own coffee so it always tasted good and fresh. The shop is a nice clean large space with tables inside and outside, so you can get your order and sit down for a little bit to enjoy your brew.

Adorable little shop. It was busy and I know why. It’s a gem. Brazil is house espresso blend. Balanced and smooth. They have knowledgeable baristas. Their quiche is fantastic too.

Very nice coffee shop with very friendly staff. Hot chocolate was great and so was the latte. My raspberry poppy seed scone was a bit stale but still tasty.

Visiting family in Paso and needed good coffee in the a.m. This place was great! Around the corner from where we were staying so each morning we'd walk there. Not bouche or pretentious. Just good coffee. Staff nice and helpful. We wanted to buy a bag of beans to bring home and asked what the grind and prep would be best for the beans, the the girl went and actually got the guy who Roasts them, Max (I think). So glad we asked. We wanted to make the coffee at home according to what the roaster prefers for it. Super cool guy, got to talk about his process etc. They roast in house. we bought the whiskey infused beans. a 12 grind pour over at home- awesome brew, you can taste a hint of that sweet whiskey oaky bourbon in it on the nose.
Later Max gave us a sample of anew blend he was working on. We finally tried it this a.m. because he said it's fresh roasted so wait a few weeks to use it. SO GOOD, think it's a fave! Max, if you're reading this... dude, make bags of this! It's a go!
Totally recommend this place. Great coffee all around!

The line queued to the back of the roast kitchen when we first arrived so we walked around the nearby 3-4 blocks in search of a replacement and couldn’t find a place with the baked goods+morning coffee combination. We returned 20 min later ans the queue was gone. The pumpkin spice chocolate chip muffin was delicious. And I never do the floofy espresso drinks but the Aztec (spicy) mocha caught my attention with the cinnamon and cayenne so I gave it a whirl. No disappointment here.

Busy, but super fast service. Enjoyed the Miel one day and Nitro another, both were delicious! Their baked goods are limited, but also perfect.

Everyone is great and the place is adorable. But I’m here for coffee, specifically espresso. And the espresso is super bitter. They are probably using beans that have fruit hints and it is super bitter - just a guess. Don’t recommend. Sad. Was better a few years ago. They need to use dark beans.

A nice coffee shop - good vibe. Staff is very friendly and the price is reasonable. Of course, they serve great coffee.

This is truly a *quintessential* community institution. Plenty of seating for those who want to relax a little after picking up their morning goodies. Great quality drinks, and for me a decaf drinker, a truly exceptional decaf right up there with the best of fully caffeinated coffees! And oh my goodness their choices for accompaniment is simply incredible! Had a lemon poppyseed scone which was both classic and refreshing at the same time, The Earl Grey scone, but could have easily tried one of their rotating fruit versions, either blueberry the one day or raspberry the next. The decor is wonderful, the merchandise was also quite attractive… Attentive and patient staff considering my multiple questions (hahaha but for real). Perfect morning stop on your way to wine country! Really not much more that you can ask for! A+
