Never experienced such poor service in my life, especially from what seemed like the owner of the coffee shop. Waited while the owner served one of the tables. When she came back she totally avoided me, standing right in front of her and took the order of the guy next to me who sounded like her friend. I was shocked and didn't know what to say, so we just left. I'm sure the cakes are good but the service is horrible unless your the guy that blatantly jumped the line.

Very expensive and overrated! I purchased four (4) pieces of pastries yesterday. I was charged about $40.00. The quality doesn't match the price at all! There was no price posted that I can see, and I assumed that it was going to cost $3 or $4 a piece. Also, the baker did not bother to remove the seeds from the raspberry filling. I would not recommend this place.

Delicious pastries, lattes and soups.. a little pricey, but the quality is top notch, and I’m sure it’s partly to do with high rent district... back next week for soup... (large latte, tea, shared pastry - blueberry tart, which was warmed and served with thick cream - $23.50)

What an amazing experience, the food is wow!! Breakfast or just a coffee with some cake!! The owner and her sons are so lovely, best service ever, a must visit!!! Thank you will be back soon!!

Stopped by for a light lunch and it was delicious! Fresh chilled cucumber soup and light tuna salad. The cappuccino was perfect. Owner and staff are warm and friendly. I look forward to my next visit.

LOT's of delicious things to try. A cute little eatery. They didn't use air conditioning on the day we visited and it was a wee warm in there to enjoy a cup of coffee. A little costly and more than you may be used to paying but definitely drop in for a goody and try something.

Coffee & pastries are good and served in a charming atmosphere. Why don't I rate Il Sogno higher? It is expensive and they will still sell you crunchy, old chocolate chip cookies for $2.75.
