Best lemonade I've had on this trip! Also the pancakes are fresh, and the pure maple syrup was really good.
Service was great and the staff was pretty friendly. Also the place is cash only.

Service was great but food was mediocre and espresso was awful. Eggs Benedict English muffin wasn’t fresh and oatmeal was nothing special. Wouldn’t go again.

You have to try the breakfast sandwich. Just incredible! My husband had biscuits and gravy and he loved it.

We were here a little after opening on a Saturday morning, before it got crowded. This was a bit of a bi-polar visit. The wait staff was slow, especially at first. It took a while to place our order and it took almost half the meal to get two cups of coffee that were ordered when we first sat down. The food, on the other hand, was prepared at a blazing speed and was quite tasty. The short order chef knew his stuff. I had the Primo Potatoes and they were filling and well seasoned. All of my companions enjoyed their dishes also. Toward the end of the meal, the wait staff got things back together and the service was much improved and the coffee refilled many times. Overall, recommended. Great character to the building.

Wow! This place is a gem in a gem of a town. We were so hungry for lunch and walked into Howard cafe to find everything we were looking for. The service was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The club sandwich was fresh and had amazing flavor. Wonderful French fries and coleslaw on the side. A perfect lunch on the terrace with a view of the town.

Good breakfast, Great Waffles(a must!) and nice "homie" atmosphere. The staff are friendly and so are their patrons. This place can get busy so be prepared far a little wait, but totally worth it. Don't forget to bring cash 'cuz they don't take plastic.

Lots of shady, lovely outdoor seating, as well as indoor available. Food quality remains very good, though I wish the breakfast menu went till they close at 2pm. We rode the scoots out...gorgeous destination place.

Eating here was a religious experience. Right down to the perfectly pulpy Orange Juice! Worth the drive. I'll definately make the 20 min drive just to have breakfast here again.

Lots has changed since I've been here. No more table-side service. You order your items at the counter and then do self-serve water and coffee. The food is still great but lacks the luster of pre-Covid ambiance.
