Not having been here for over 7 years, the menu had changed little. The wait staff was friendly and there is almost always a wait for a table. They only accept cash. The food was not what it had been but still very enjoyable. The smoothies were really good as were the coffee drinks. I had an omelette which was a lot of food so you will not leave hungry.

Visit - June 4, 2019 - 11:30 AM. I have eaten at Howard Station before on visits to California/Sonoma. Arrived at 11:10 and the place was modestly busy with four servers working. Entered and told to pick any table. Sat down and waited, received menus, and noticed that the lunch menu was not available until 11:30. In fact, a couple who arrived after us tried to order and was told that. It turned out not to be a problem for us. Despite twice being told 'I will be right with you' out order was taken at 11:30. Had the BLT on sourdough. It consisted of over-toasted common sourdough, two thin slices of tomato, overcooked and burned bacon, and a large lettuce leaf. I went for the potato salad as a side. The food was horrible, service was friendly, but too slow for how few people were there. Totally 180' difference from prior experience. If you want to hate bacon, order the BLT here.

Ordered two egg breakfast, bacon, waffles, potatoes, Cajun sausage, and coffee. All of it was very tasty, but the grilled breakfast potatoes were exceptional. You must stop here once for breakfast if coming thru Occidental. Make sure you have cash!!

Favorite breakfast place in Sonoma County. The benedicts, perfect. Fresh juice or lattes. Great service. Quaint atmosphere. Locals mixed with city folks. My favorite place to be on a Sunday morning.

I love this place, even just using the order window and eating on one of the picnic tables across the parking lot. I hadn't been here for a couple years till this morning, very glad to see they're still up and running! The apple Danish is great 😉

It's a tradition to pile in the car and head to the beach by way of Occidental, stopping in at Howard's before heading on to the coast. Traditional fare with a West county tilt. Great breakfast menu if you can get out early enough. Bring cash!

Portions are generous, but menu is a bit pricey. Lots of fresh and healthy selections including terrific juices and bakery items. Order from the specials boards for the tastiest items. Can be extremely loud and busy on weekend mornings. CASH ONLY.
