Best breakfast in town. I have been coming here well over 20 years now and I am always happy to sit and drink good, strong coffee and eat a Belgian waffle. You're doing a disservice by not stopping in for at least coffee and a scone when in town.

I went based on the reviews and I was very disappointed. Mediocre service ( I asked for more sugar as mine was empty and finally got it from another table as 2 of the wait staff were toooo busy talking to get it) The cup of tea is 3.50. The sandwich was $14.0 for an ok, nothing special or unique and a bland overly sweet cookie 1.25. I had gone expecting something special and was very unimpressed. I doubt I will bother to try it again and I eat out at least 5 to 7 times a week. That was my experience.

Breakfast was wonderful. We'll be back when in the area.

Love this place. The food, service and cocktails are wonderful.

Came here for lunch on Sunday before heading back home to the bay area. My husband and I were with our 5 month old baby who was sleeping in his carseat and stroller. We were super uncomfortable with everyone staring at us like we had a sign on our foreheads that we were not locals. Super weird. Waitress was visibly annoyed that we were seated in her section. The food was ok. I had the twice baked potato, which was too rich for my liking, hubby had a deconstructed burger (no bun just patty on lettuce) which was super plain and nothing special. I was looking forward to being Wow'd by the reviews and the star rating but was underwhelmed.

Every single dish, breakfast, lunch and dinner, is absolutely amazing and delicious down to the last bite. I thoroughly enjoy every meal I get there and the burgers and breakfasts are unforgettable. The French toast is outa this world. If you are ever in Murphy's, make it a point to stop by Grounds, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Great little get away place to grab a delicious meal to refuel for your day, whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. If your into people watching, grab a table up front or you can choose to dine on the patio or inside. Great drinks paired with great bites.

I have 2x in 2 days for lunch; day 1 was a 5-star day, day 2 was 4 stars. It's not fair that I can't reflect a rating of 4.5 :) --

While there are some "average" things in the midst of otherwise greatness on the menu, I have to say the "great" dishes are wonderful -- both because of quality and because of price. It's rare to see so much craftsmanship go into simple soups and sandwiches -- and a twice-baked potato -- but really it's wonderful -- and esp. nice on a cold Fall day.

The food is good be the owners don’t care about safety much. Our busboy wore his mask on his chin (exposing his nose and mouth). After complaining (where they said they would correct it), he was still doing it two hours later when we walked by.
