Before a show we walked around town and were deciding on dinner. The posted menu looked amazing and Murphy's inspires, especially before a fun concert. My Elk and Prawns were amazing and my husband had the Ribeye.. excellent meal in a cute town before a great show!

We had some soup and a cheesesteak sandwich. Both were very good. I would return here again, the service and food were top notch

This restaurant was phenomenal. It was our first opportunity to have dinner at a nice restaurant since Covid. We sat outside on the patio in front of the restaurant. They had umbrellas and water misters for this +100 degree day. The food was excellent, the drinks were delicious, and the service was on point. We started with bread, calamari, and crab cakes. Everything so far indicated this was going to be well worth the 3 year wait. The French bread was really good, the steak-style calamari and huge crab cakes were amazing. I was split between the special of the day - prime rib - and ciopino. I went for the ciopino and was extremely happy with my choice. The shrimp and scallops were large and delicious. I'm not typically a fan of mussels and clams, but they were cooked perfectly and the entire dish was excellent. My husband had a huge pork chop and mashed potatoes, which he also loved. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for making our first dinner in a nice restaurant since March of 2020 absolutely perfect!

My sister-in-law (Murphys resident) recommended "Grounds" as a place to go to for lunch. There were five of us and all family.

Quaint interior, nothing fancy, and quite comfortable.

My wife and I split the eggplant sandwich. I had the salad and she ordered french fries. My son had the burrito and my daughter had a salad. My son-in-law had the Sanish Rice & Pinto Bean Bowl. I did not hear of any complaints.

My wife and I enjoyed the grilled eggplant sandwich. It was excellent.

The service was excellent and the waiter was attentive to our needs. It had been a couple of years since my brother George and I were there.

Thank you for making our day a nice one with your restaurant and service. I am sure we will be back again the next time we are in town

As usual, a great breakfast at a reasonable price with good sized potions!

The food I've had here is better than expected thinking a tourist style knowing that customers will show whether food is good or bad as most are out of area visits. Espresso machine makes a great shot. Bar area, indoor seating and outdoor smaller area right on the road, so there is traffic though not moving fast.

Awesome, elevated breakfast in the very picturesque village of Murphys! I had the herb omelette which I highly recommend; house coffee is NOT your average diner dishwater; it’s full-bodied and delicious. The toast is clearly made from in-house bread; potato pancake is cooked to perfection (basically it’s hash browns). Highly recommend! If you can get a table on the back patio it’s a real treat!

Food was very good. Love french toast and this place did not dissapoint. However service for me was ok. Dont know if it was because was dining alone or anything else. Was there for little over 30 mins and ran out of coffe about 15 mins in. I saw the waitresses ask the tables next to me if they needed coffee then leave. Towards the end of my meal i was asked if i was good by the same hostest who seated me which was the only saving grace to their staff. Also if any staff from the restaurant read these please bring knives to those who order french toast. Was given a fork and nothing else. As i mentioned before service seemed fine around me and thank you to the hostest. Food was great to the cheffs.

Another great dinner at Grounds. I had the chicken cordon bleu and she had the salmon with risotto and we shared the brussel sprout appetizer and the chocolate martini as a dessert which we absolutely loved.
