Excellent coffee shop with plenty of space, quality seating, and great Wi-Fi. The coffee and baked goods were delicious. There is free street parking a short walk away. It’s right by the bay and has a bit of a view from one window. So glad we found this place on a trip to Monterey, and we actually came to hang out several times!

The coffee is okay, but the service was excellent. You do have to wait outside due to Covid-19. Allot they had one gluten free option, which was nice to see. They had a good variety of syrups for coffee as well. The spinach breakfast burrito was delicious and baked to perfection!

The espresso in the latte wasn’t strong enough, it felt like I could only taste the oat milk. Maybe it was a single shot instead of double? Good breakfast sandwich with nice bread but it felt too basic for the price ($8). Great service though!

I am quite picky abt coffee, hence I don’t think they did a good job making latte. It’s too hot, milk was watery, coffe has a burnt taste. I can make much better latte w my ecm machine. What a waste of la marzocco.

Good coffee but service is mediocre. The person taking our order was curt and unwelcoming… it seemed like a chore to take my order. 3 coffees, 3 gelatos. The gelatos come pre-packed and are ok. They don’t have the consistency of a creamy gelato and instead have more of an icy texture. The best flavor taste-wise was the hazelnut chocolate (which happens to be dairy-free and ironically the most “creamy” compared to the other 2 milk-based ones.
Expect to also wait about 10-15 min for your coffee order. It wasn’t particularly crowded but there was only 1 barista and he chose a very leisurely pace.

We wanted an afternoon coffee with a waterfront view, and Tidal Coffee did not disappoint. What an awesome place! The coffee and pastry were delicious, and I loved the chic nautical interior.

Very good coffee with owner who knows his coffee beans. Worth your time to check out this establishment. Sit outside and enjoy the ocean view.

The best part about this place is the view.
Get your coffee and hang out on the large terrace that extends in to the water. We saw dolphins, a sea lion that looks like a regular visitor, and a few sea otters!
Coffee and pastries are top notch. Get the ham and cheese croissant. One of the best I’ve ever had. Smoky ham, melty cheese, and poppy seeds added something extra. Blueberry muffin was amazing, lots of cinnamon spice flavor.

Coffee beans are burned black and the taste was like char. No reason to visit this place over a Starbucks. Ordered a cappucino and the shot was pulled in less than 10 seconds so I don't know how there was any coffee in my drink.

Was excited to see this coffee shop nestled by the ocean on our way to the Aquarium.
We were sadly disappointed by the quality of the drinks ordered however. Our "light" drip coffee was smokey, with heavy burnt flavors, all while being a bit watery. Our friends were equally disappointed with their espresso and latte.
The redeeming quality did lie in the food and the overall atmosphere. We enjoyed a creative breakfast muffin (with a hardboiled egg inside) and other breakfast items.
But even that alas, was very pricy, and the barista forgetting our food order entirely did not help our experience.
If you want a cute looking break while in the area, the food and drink can tie you over, but unfortunately there is much to be desired from a place that looks so nice.
