I got the pear Danish and it was very good. We got there around 9:30 am on a Wednesday and they were sold out of some pastries. I would say try to get there earlier if you are seeking a more popular item.

Location location location! It’s a pretty nice place to have a morning coffee since it’s just next to the ocean. Pretty nice views all around this place.Coffees were pretty good although there were not that many options. I always go to tidal coffee every time I am I. Monterey.

Cute little coffee shop in Monterey right by the ocean. Coffee was great, cold brew just average and food items were very pricey.
The vibe of the place is cozy and nice.
Onky call out: they don't have a restroom.

Tidal Coffee in Monterey is a fantastic spot for coffee lovers. Not only do they serve up great lattes, but the views from their location are absolutely breathtaking. Whether you're looking to start your day with a sunrise coffee or take a break from exploring the beautiful Monterey coastline, Tidal Coffee is the perfect place to do so.

Located at Cannery Row, this elegant cafe serves coffee at its basic level. The latte I ordered is one of the best I’ve tasted. They did an excellent on execution of the desired taste level of what a latte should taste. They also serve pastries. I tried the bearclaw and its not the average bearclaw you find and taste at donut shops or cafes. Their bearclaw has elevated the taste level better than the average bearclaws you find. Pastries are slightly pricey, but worth it. A truly must visit ☕️

Walked an hour, 2.5 miles and there was no more cinnamon rolls. 🥲 Thankfully I got the Blondie instead and there was a lot of finger licking after with my partner. We both enjoyed it (ask for them to warm it). Delicious!

Awesome location! Their almond croissant is the best I’ve ever had, a cappuccino along with it goes really well. They also give butter packets on the side for any kind of croissant that you order, which is good. Even though the place is closer to the bay aquarium, their menu items are reasonably priced which is great. I would come here again for the almond croissant.

Don’t go here if you like specialty coffee / good espresso. They use a 3rd party’s espresso, not their own. Very dark and bitter. Solid option if you want Starbucks with cuter branding. Super friendly and fast just not for you if you like specialty coffee.

Head to captain & stoker for coffee you won’t forget

I understand that beach front means more expensive but an "okay" reheated breakfast burrito for 14 dollars is just not what anyone deserves. Service was fine, space was modern. But don't kid yourself coming here expecting something that good to eat. Coffee was fine though.

I’ve tried to like this place over several visits the past couple of months and consistently leave disappointed. The line can get long, but no matter how busy (or quiet) it always moves very slowly. The latte, flat white, and cold brew have all been underwhelming, and the matcha latte was just thrown away after a couple sips for being too chalky. The place does have its location going for it, but you’re better off bringing coffee from somewhere else to sit here.
