I had a great experience here. The sandwich I ordered was very delicious. It was the Cali-Delight. Served on 5 seed sliced bread, mayonnaise, avocado, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, mushrooms, onions, ham, bacon, with cheddar and Swiss cheese. I also had a strawberry & banana smoothie that was good. For dessert I had a slice of their chocolate fudge cake. For the longest time I did not know they served sandwiches. Now that I do I will come back again.

What a delightful place to hang out! The atmosphere was so homey! There were a variety of flavors to choose from for our drinks! I think the only thing missing was a smile, but it happens to all of us I guess.

I took my friends son to do a painting activity at this coffee shop. There was a lady who teaches painting for all ages. He had a lot of fun. It did cost $25. I don't usually do things that cost this much. He had a lot of fun. It was worth the money.

Healthy food, great coffees, terrific funky ambience. Plenty of cozy inside spots and a beautiful garden for outside seating. My favorite coffee shop in Modesto.

Love this place, usually only one lady working but she’s fabulous! She takes your order, takes it to you and no matter how busy she is she is always positive, calm and collected. This place over all has such relaxed homey vibes I don’t mind waiting even if I’m in a rush☺️ They have a beautiful garden/ patio area and it’s all very zen. Highly recommend. Oh and the coffee is a great roast, amazing flavor!

I rode my bike from MJC West and stopped at the Queen Bean. I had exotic coffee and sat in the patio. That is a very quiet seating area and rather romantic with wood deck, potted plants everywhere, and a large tree canopy above you. I ordered the classic egg bowl and must say it’s hot, delightful and too much food. Warmed by the “Geneva” coffee and hot breakfast, I could have had a nap. I put my helmet back on and had a pleasant ride home. Thank you and Happy Holidays to the Queen Bean Coffee House.

I HATED this restaurant. I love trying new places and the reviews seemed nice enough. Whole other story when you actually eat there. The place smelled like old people in the worst way possible, our sandwiches were cold and tasteless (unlike the photos in reviews). And the actual place was dirty and old. I tipped a lot and paid 10 dollars for a sandwich smaller than a chicken thigh at el Pollo Loco and despite them putting so much sht in the sandwiches they didn’t taste like anything. Everyone around us (white people) got pretty sandwiches toasted and fresh while we got last week’s left overs. Girl bye.

It was a very comfortable environment. Quiet and peaceful. A very nice and accepting vibe, warm and welcoming.
I had gotten an African Queen and a royal dip. Both were very delicious, in fact it was the best coffee I've had, By that I mean I actually enjoyed it for it's full depth of flavor and aroma. It was even the best french dip sandwich I've had, and I like to think of myself to be a good chef and have made french dip before, but never thought to put swiss cheese, onions, and mushrooms on it.
The prices were also pretty decent so someone like me who doesn't usually have a lot of money felt ok spending what I had on food there.

My girl @_____was there for an outdoor sales event Hosted by The Funky Bunch. The host were great along with their mocha and smoothie. The costumes were fun, especially the little ones that came through with their parents.
All guidelines were enforced.
Lovely place all around.
You're gonna love the banjo players. Ask about the banjo's west African origins.

What a little gem! Came in for coffee and chat time with my sister and friend. The chai latte is like a warm cup of heaven...WOW! Sylvia is such a sweet lady and she can really do magic with the food and drink there. I ordered the breakfast bowl, it's like the burrito but no tortilla, it was delicious. I added avocado to mine in addition to the choice of bacon. Perfect temperature, cook on everything and flavorful. Come sqitha side if salsa verde. The atmosphere is so welcoming and you feel very comfortable like if you were having breakfast at home with friends.
I highly recommend Queen Bean and now know why my sister raves about it. Looking forward to coming back again and often.
