There isn’t much competition for boba spots in merced. The drinks are just okay but it’s the best you can find in the area.

EM TEA is the best, I got a matcha drink is on the special list and it’s a mix with matcha and milk🥰my friend got the 🐝 bee my self which is on the special list also~❤️love this place

Been here a lot since, but writing a review since I haven't seen much about one of the drinks. In general I think EmTea is the best milk tea place in Merced. My go to is Okinawa milk tea(black) with less sweetness and it's a solid drink.
This time I got the Galaxy Falls drink and it's really refreshing! I think it's a great summer drink. It has yakult + lemon + tea. I included a picture.

The drinks are great! I like their camel and the brown sugar latte ,their egg pudding is good I wish they had a creme brulee pudding which was a creamy instead of chunks.. but the customer service is HORRIBLE, I honestly think if you don’t look Asian majority of the staff are extremely rude. I would prefer to order online so I don’t have to place order with cashier. I would not keep going back but there aren’t many other boba options in Merced.

EmTea is a tiny bit pricey, but they offer a punch card and all of their drinks are delicious!! Definitely mine and my daughter's favorite tea shop in Merced~

The first time I went to Em-Tea was with one of my roommates, and I loved this place. I don't remember what I got last time, but it was good. This time, on April 22, 2022, I got myself a strawberry flavor with green tea and popping boba. It tastes really good and I would recommend this place to anyone who loves boba! They also have the UNO cards, which I played with my friends once to have fun and kill time while waiting for our drinks to be picked up.

The Tea is very good. I love the variety. I come here weekly. But they are very slow at expediting orders. It seems as it could be a family ran business. The same employees and they look tired maybe hire some new employees with some experience in the business to help in that area

Cute boba shop, with a good variety of tea, and add ons. This place is extremely COVID compliant, so be sure to bring a mask and not gather inside.
