Friendly service and pretty solid food. Some things need a little tweaking: side salad was literally just lettuce, and there could be a few more options for BBQ sauce. But the half rack was great, so was the mac and cheese. Other sides also seemed on point. The venue is also very pretty, with a rustic log cabin vibe and a beautiful fireplace!

Hadn't even had the menu fully placed on the table by the waitress, when another waitress walked up and said "Are you ready to order yet?" We said "NO" " we haven't looked at the menu yet" We got the chicken steak. Actually what is was, was a hamburger patty coated in flour & fried. Very small amount of eggs and potatoes. And we never got our toast! We got it to go. $15.00 per order no drink. Never ever again!!!!!

Great little cafe with historic charm and delicious food! We had a large group at lunch and there was something on the menu for everyone: burgers, salads, blts, soup, chicken burgers, chicken strips, etc. The servers are very friendly and the food arrived just as ordered with large portions and fresh ingredients. Can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu!

Rude waitresses including the owner who told us to leave because my service dog didn’t have a sign showing it. The awful and clearly clueless owner broke the law by discriminating me.

No good is worth that trauma! Avoid like the plague

I visited in the summer when the weather was gorgeous and it was delightful to walk the town. I ordered a dish with Eggs Benedict that was loaded with fresh avocados. The service was quick and friendly and the food was wonderful. The large picture windows allow you to observe the corner and street. They have created an atmosphere that is in between eclectic coffee shop and local diner, a nice mix. My friends who took me here always visit White Mountain Cafe whenever they are in the McCloud area.

This is a great little place, truly a country cafe. Currently open Friday-Monday 8:00am-2:00pm. I did lunch; carnitas cubano with fries. Good size portions, tasty and a decent price. Place is clean! with limited sitting of course. But, you can dine in. If you have to wait, you should. Staff friendly and polite. The site says do dining but, that is incorrect. They have not yet updated site.

We love McCloud and we eat here every time we come into town. I think one of the owners is the cook and his food is always fabulous! We stopped here in March 2013 and they were also offering dinner a few days a week and it was awesome! Last time we were in town we had breakfast here all 3 mornings. There was a woman cooking on the last day and it was OK but no as good as usual- the fruit was old- which has never happened before. The service can be hit or miss. The one wateriness with big loop earrings, she might be the owner as well, doesn't seem to like out of town people and will just ignore you...no coffee, no check ins, kind of an attitude. One of the times we went there her and another local guy were complaining about the parking and making jokes about tourists. Not the kind of attitude you like to get when your giving them your money every time your in town. But the food is almost always fantastic and there really is no other place in town that has food of this quality. I just made friends with the guy that was helping out and he was more then happy to say hi and refill coffee & water.

Been here for breakfast a few times now while visiting dear friends- the food is fantastic, staff are lovely, and experiences have been great. I had the Gravy Train the last time I was in town and it was made to perfection! Location is very kid friendly and beautiful.

My omelet was undercooked and bell peppers were not requested yet received them anyway, and home fries burnt. Sent it back to the kitchen and the next go around was fine. Food is okay, but nothing to really brag about. Wait staff was good.
