Lovely place. Good quality coffee and teas. Table space is limited but there are tons of outlets. So it’s perfect if you have a LAPtop. Okay amount of seating. Just wish the AC was stronger. Street parking only.

Espresso came out sour and unbelievably hard to drink. Wow, a been there won’t come back kind of place. Loud with a lot of people, would not be able to work here.

When it’s probably fully up and running, you can tell this is a cool spot. I’ve only tried this place during quarantine (I know, I know... stay home..), but it does not disappoint. Nice little pastry selection and the dirty chai I tried was tasty. Their new (I think) Bon Bon was delicious, too.
Update: Their Spiced Cold Brew is amazing 👌🏽 Get this if you don’t mind a nice kick in your drink!

Maru Coffee is a quaint coffee shop in the Arts District and I'm glad they're able to open up here and be closer to DTLA. When you walk into their store, it's aesthetically pleasing to the eye with simplistic colors. They serve all drinks on hand crafted pottery which makes them unique. Their selection of drinks are flavorful and worth trying if you're ever in the area. Even if you're here to just chill with friends are to work, it's a nice open space to relax and it's not loud

Great third wave coffee shop with interesting rotation of single origins aswell as a solid coffee program. Ofcourse some coffees aren’t superb and it would be considerate of them to serve some sparkling water along side there espresso it does not deter from the beautiful space and reserved baristas.

Love this place! Sitting well in the up and coming block of DTLA, the coffee shop's simple, sparse and bright décor are like a breath of fresh breeze. The green tea latter with almond milk is excellent. And you will definitely love the subtle feel of all of its handmade coffee cups!

Excellent sustainable coffee is brewed and poured over. The farms they buy from are ma and pa operations so I feel extra good about dropping 5 bucks for a special Ethiopian blend. 6 bucks if you're feeling extra good.

Best coffee in the neighborhood. I try some place new regularly and always make my way back to Maru. Also happy to report appropriately social distanced line with all staff and customers required to wear masks.
