Maru Coffee

The matcha latte seemed to be the play. I got the iced latte and it was fine - i tasted nice roast. Slightly expensive but I’d say that’s the price of entry for the people watching.

I didn't like how the coffee didn't taste very strong and more milky for latte. Personally, I enjoy more of a deeper chocolate flavor for espresso. I also didn't think the service was that friendly, the seating not that comfortable. I feel like you're also more verbally pressured to tip which I just think is kinda weird even though I know it's important for workers.

I did like the minimal aesthetic of the Cafe and I think they offer a different variety of coffee like slow drip cold brew. I think the coffee is fine, and if you do like your coffee on the "lighter" side, I think you would enjoy it.

Maru offers perfect coffeeshopmoments. I am a fan of both Maru places, this one located in Arts District is not so busy like the one in Los Feliz. Also, here is the roastery located. Minimalist interior, vegan cakes (orange-poppyseed 😋), free WiFi and coffeeperfection ✨👍

I had the Set C, which came with an espresso, a small macchiato taster, and a 6 oz coffee so you get to sample a lot. Would recommend for adventurous people trying to find what they like. The cafe itself is really neat inside with decent seating. Would want to try to slow drip cold brew if i go back.

EXCELLENT! I’ve been following them for a while on Instagram and finally made it. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I got the drip which was 9/10, my wife got their matcha and it might’ve been the best matcha we ever had. Usually I don’t like sweet coffee drinks but I had to try their “cream top”.. absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend! Real coffee people making real good coffee.

I've had there bon bon and cream top and both are delicious!! The bon bon is espresso with a thick sweet cream on top. The cream top is a cold brew with the a sweet cream on top. Highly recommend!

The service and coffee were awesome! The espresso tonic was refreshing and different. The canele is a must order!

Very cute cafe and the coffee is very good! Once you step into the store you can smell it. It’s a great place to chill out with frds! Get Cream Top!!!

Service isn’t great. I came here on Sunday. There are literally 4 people behind the counter, so there’s a chaotic vibe.

I asked for light ice and they literally gave me less milk to… make up for the money they lost on 2 ounces of milk?

This isn’t the only coffee shop I’ve been to with such a ridiculous policy, but I need to call it out. You want to give me less milk, then give me a discount on the $6 coffee.
