I wasn't really impressed with the coffee here. The matcha green tea latte was average, as was their New England. It was decent, but definitely not worth returning unless you happen to be in the area.

Kind baristas and mind blowing selection of coffees. Highly recommend.

I LOVE Kumquat Coffee.
It's shares my top spot with Endorphine Coffee in Chinatown as the best places to go in Los Angeles for your expertly brewed top shelf coffee.
First, their baristas are all great, and very friendly and professional. Everyone here cares a lot about what they are doing, and how you are feeling about your experience.
Second. The classic coffee selection is always great, but they often have 2nd and 3rd single origin selections if you want as well. Also, lots of teas to choose from if you don't feel like coffee.
Third. They supply a wide assortment of beans and teas and coffee supplies, so If you're on the lookout for a new top shelf coffee roaster, you'll no doubt find something new and very good here.
Forth. The "cloudy with a chance of peanuts." Trust me. Get this drink. It's the best coffee creation I've had in years. Great for a chill Sunday afternoon mood.

Maybe the best coffee in Highland Park. Really cool and quirky environment and well designed. Like a lot of coffee shops in L.A, it can feel a little too hip and sterilized, but you're gonna get good coffee here and enjoy the feel of the shop. I wish prices were a tad lower but I hope that goes to paying their baristas very well.

Relaxing atmosphere couple block from the busy part of highland Park. Easy to find street parking. The coffee shop offer selection of pastry for anyone who is a little hungry. They also make pretty good coffee, Its towards the light roasted side. Also service is good and friendly. I would recommend this place.

Our new favorite coffee place in LA! Delicious pour over and cappuccino with a variety of beans to choose from. They have beans from different roasteries, all are top notch. Baristas are friendly and very knowledgeable. They also have really cute ceramic sets that they serve their pour overs and matcha in. Cute minimalist type interior with 3 tables (about 3 people per table), 3 counters/bars with 4 seats each, and 3 other benches seating 2 people each (maximum capacity for seating I'd say is 30 people). Highly recommended!

Do note parking lot right in front of the entrance is very small--maybe will fit 2, 3 cars at most. Luckily there are plenty free residential parking spaces around the block.
Americano was good. Interior has a modern Korean cafe feel. They sell coffee brewing accessories, tea bags, and coffee beans.

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in all of LA— maybe of all time. The staff is amazing, the coffee is perfect, and everything about the store is aesthetically pleasing.

Each time I have come here, it has been the same staff members who are polite and quick. They have a lot of tea options, specifically matcha, which is very cool. There is quite a bit of seating for the size of the shop as well. The matcha and Jasmine tea/lemonade I tried was very good. I usually order an Americano at every coffee shop I go to, but I did not really care for the Americano-- perhaps I am just not a fan of the roast of their espresso. The latte I drank was okay, I didn't mind it as much, probably due to the almond milk diluting the espresso taste. I will keep coming because I of the location and the matcha as well as the cordial staff.

This is a nice little coffee shop with decent pastries, decent coffee, and also coffee supplies (like filters, etc)
I'm a particular fan of their Cloudy (with a chance of peanut butter) beverage, because...yes, I'll gladly put peanut butter in my coffee.
