Highland park was one of the most fun places I have visited in the Los Angeles area. And surprisingly, this coffee shop is so unique and trendy, like most shops I visited in Highland was hyped! There are a few street parking available in front of the coffee shop area. I tried Hongkong milk tea, and it has an intense flavor with a perfect amount of sweetness :) I recommend this coffee shop if you visit Highland park.

Surprisingly this little coffee shop sells all kinds of coffee beans from all over the world including Asia and South America. The special coffee recipes really makes my mouth pop, it's so smooth and delicious. The barista is very skillful and handles the order well.

After hearing countless amazing things, I decide to finally give Kumquat a try. When I arrived I noticed a line outside which then I knew something was about to be good. The coffee shop is super cute and everyone was so friendly. Me being from Nashville, I had to get their specialty drink the Tennessee. When I took that first sip I instantly smiled. It was so full of flavor and the coffee tasted very fresh. Added to my favorites list and I will be back. :) Highly recommend!

Super cute coffee shop on a trendy street in Highland Park! Lots of street parking available and the staff is super friendly.
I tried their Kumquat Tonic which was refreshing and very nice! I also got a New England Latte which had the perfect creaminess and roastiness.

I have been looking forward to visiting this cafe since I first saw my favorite youtuber talked about it.
The line was already long when I got there at 930 in the morning on a Sunday. I appreciate the store encourages everyone to wear a mask and allows only five customers inside at once.
I got what I always get at a new coffee shop, latte with whole milk. the coffee is just slightly bitter but overall, I still really enjoyed the latte.
I can’t wait to come back to try their other items! The next ones on my list are hojicha latte and the plum green tea!

Quality selection of unique coffees - and perfectly brewed. The pastries are also delicious. Cute small outdoor seating area. I especially like this place because of the stuff they have available for sale in the cafe. A bunch of interesting chocolate bars, a range of non-coffee beverages including pressed juicery, a LOT of cool looking coffee bean brands, and also a bunch of coffee making equipment! Very pleasant experience here - will definitely come back whenever I’m in the area!

Kumquat is a petit multiroaster coffee shop with a charming little patio. I always look forward to visiting Kumquat, because every visit feels reassuring and exciting.
The reassurance stems from their consistent quality control and attention to details. Every cup is made and served as if it was a ritual. I especially like that they put the lid on the side, not on the cup. The only time I had something to complain about, and I did complain because their black napkins bleed, they changed to white when I visited again a week later.
The excitement is because of Kumquat's understated creativity. On the menu you'll find staple signature coffee drinks: New England and Tennessee are two flavored lattes, and their famous Cloudy with a Chance of Peanut, a cream top iced latte with peanut butter foam and powder. The condensed 8oz drink with its rich peanut butter flavor feels almost like a dessert, and I truly enjoyed the special experience. Moreover, Kumquat creates signature tea drinks every month, and they always hit the right note of novel and balanced flavor with a dashing presentation. Like July's Lychee Hongcha Latte and August's Maldives Cooler. Kumquat finds a way to make drinks look good even in a plastic cup.

Highland Park has no shortage of delicious Coffee (Cafe De Leche, Collage, Tierra Mia and a few others); and today I made my way over to Kumquat Coffee located at 4936 York Blvd just a few steps from the York Park at N Ave 50. As soon as I walked through the entrance that wonderful coffee grind aroma hit my senses and I knew I was in for a treat. I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk and one brown sugar packet mixed in. The taste was exceptional; creamy rich and flavorful with just the right touch of froth. Kumquat has friendly and helpful staff. Small seating area outside and on street parking shouldn't be too difficult. I highly recommend trying their coffee.

I came to get a bag of Local Natives beans. The band said the bags would be sold at these stores. When I got there, they said they only sell the beans online. Okay so I drove all the way here for nothing. I also was hoping to sit down and do a little work with a coffee, nope, no seating or tables. They have a few benches outside, no tables. The cappuccino was delicious though, with nice latte art.
