I wanted to like Endorffeine more, but I'd only come here if I was already in Chinatown. The space is as minimal as it comes. No decor and no seating inside (but you can sit at the picnic tables in the courtyard). The owner, Jack, is the only one working behind the bar. The menu is a bit limited too, though there are a few espresso-based drinks, cold brew and pour-over available. The shop's specialty is a shaken iced latte. I tried one of these, the PALM SUGAR-WHISKEY ICED LATTE. It was ok, not something I would rave about.
If you haven't eaten elsewhere in the plaza, they also offer a toasted brioche with seasonal fruit jam or an assortment of pies.

Great small coffee. Minimal in aesthetic, but super interesting approach to brewing - almost like a chemistry experiment. Really nice people & love that they serve Heart coffee!

Arguably the best coffee shop in Los Angeles: phenomenal pour-over featuring some of the country's best small roasters and unique, Asian-inflected cold brew lattes in a stripped-down but welcoming setting in Chinatown's Far East Plaza

When you visit endorffeine, please understand that the coffee, in its various forms, speaks for itself. That is the philosophy of the co-owner/proprietors Jack Benchakul and T Taya. It is among the best in the greater LA metropolitan area. If you are fond of refreshing cold drinks, please consider Jack and Taya's latest product line: endorffeine RTD (ready to drink). Four dairy-free flavors: vanilla pandan coffee, Thai iced coffee, matcha latte, and butterfly pea flower tea.
In Philadelphia last month, Jack (who is more gregarious than "still waters run deep" Taya and is trained as a manufacturing chemist) gave a talk entitled "Art and Science Converge to Create a Balanced Beverage: Coffee". I wasn't able to attend, and sure wish he would present it again in a suitably intellectual venue near Chinatown. I'd be his opener and present "Art, Science and Health Converge to Create an Empowered Community: Anchor for Community Benefits"

Can only speak to the lattes, caps, etc. The guy had almost everything dialed in but temperature. He measures it with his forearm, which can't stand near as much heat as your tongue. By the time you walk out of the shop you might as well have an iced latte. Plus he doesn't use local rosaters and his hours are not great.

This Coffee Shop has a welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed spending the whole day here alone with their delicious coffees.

It seems like people know and have said this before. The attention to detail and care for producing a cup of coffe here is an amazing site to see. No cream or sugar needed for anything. Very very good!

This is the greatest coffee I've ever had in my life. The team here is extremely kind on top of everything.

Iced latte tasted liked iced coffee. Can't taste the espresso or the oat milk.. Very disappointed.

Simple place. Menu only had like 12 items. I only drink espresso, and this place had some good espresso
