Corner Bakery

Stop there for breakfast this morning. I ordered a breakfast combo with bacon, eggs and 3 pancakes. I have it to go bag eventhough I did not ask for. They didn't include any sauce except for the syrup for the pancake. Nothing special on the bacon or eggs. The pancake were alright. Not the best. I am not feeling it. The coffee was definitely not great. Here is my price tag...

I went to Corner Bakery Cafe for the first time and got the Chicken Carbonara. The portion size was perfect and it came with Garlic bread. The pasta tasted amazing, it was much better than I expected. The employees were all very friendly and professional so I was very pleased with my visit and will most definitely return.

I like this coffee shop a lot. The staff is very friendly and helpful and owner or manager is very friendly and appreciates his customers. The food is good and I like the coffee better than starbucks down the street.

Placed an online order that wasn't ready. Customer service is terrible. There was 2 of us waiting to pick up, I was there first, the young lady didn't look at me and immediately helped the other gentleman. After helping him, she looked at me, said nothing and went to doing something else.

Poor service, wrong order, rude staff especially manager Roxie. 15 minute delay in getting food and it was half wrong. Has been steadily going downhill in the past month. Do not recommend. I had been a good customer and was then yelled at by the staff for expressing annoyance at the delay and lack of service.

The service was good but the food was very disappointing. My sandwich and drink came out to $14.00...my sandwich was worth about 5...if that. I was starving...it didn't taste bad, but it sure didn't look like the photo they were promoting either. It was my 3rd choice in....it had the shortest lines.

Today I spent over 30 dollars in pastries for work. The bagels were hard and at 730am were not recently baked. I’m not going to go to this Corner Bakery any longer. The glass doors are never cleaned, and first impressions do make a difference. Quality products and cleanliness are what brings me back.

Great place right in the heart of LA. Lovely surroundings, great coffee, crackling bacon. What more would you need?

The prices are good, especially for this area of downtown, but you get what you pay for. The salads are basic compared to the other offerings in the WaterCourt but aren't bad and it is good to have a reasonable choice for food. Extremely limited indoor seating (2 four-tops, 1 six-top, 9 bar seats) and during the lunch hour, the employees on break take up half the seating and then leave their trash for someone (presumably another employee?) to clean up. Plenty of outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Strangely, no trash cans inside. You need to walk outside to throw away your trash...I guess that is why the employees leave their trash in the seating areas.
