I read these reviews and I was excited to try this place. I was continuing my quest of eating great fried Chicken. Then I get here and it was very disappointing. They eliminated pretty much any type of chicken with bones except for the chicken wings. they didn't update their menu so you didn't realize that you can get chicken thigh and a leg. The options was get or chicken strips or chicken sandwiches. I didn't want to chicken sandwich at more bread than I want to eat. I got the chicken wings which were okay. My daughter got the chicken strips which are a hot mess basically the batter was falling off of it and it was soggy batter. We also got the donuts which were $3.50 to $5 each. The donuts were very sweet but other than that boring. I actually didn't even finish my maple bacon donut. It was way too sweet.

Sweet & Savory .
I searched for interesting spots near me and Birdies popped up. What a delicious surprise. Crispy chicken and bacon with a side of sugary sweetness… Yes Please! Awesome staff and great food.

Came here after a show on Saturday, place was really good. I ordered the breakfast sandwich w/ bacon 🙏🏾👌🏾 food comes quick there was about 5-6 orders in front of me & still didn’t wait a long time.
I recommend this spot to try, didn’t get to try the doughnuts but I’m sure they fire as well.

Oh oh oh. Their wings! 🤤 so crispy. I had the lemon pepper dry rub. Smell soo yummy.

Probably the best donut shop in dtla! I don’t really have a sweet tooth and I don’t like Krispy kreme for being teeth numbing sweet. Yet, I found birdies’ donuts are tasty. My favorite is the pistachio ones. Soft, tasty, with just the right fluff. Recently also tried their cookie n creme ones. The cream was sooo yummy and not overpowering. Also they have chicken & waffle. What’s not to like about this shop?!

It was ok. Honestly I'd prefer Bruxie, The staff was really nice and their doughnuts were delicious, but they were nothing out of the ordinary. Just eye candy. The crispy chicken sandwiches were good but I wish they had a bit more crisp to them. I'd recommend the Tennessee hot or the Birdie's spicy

These were both great tasting sandwiches , picture #1 is the classic Spicy chicken sandwich and #2 is the Nashville BBQ sandwich. There are a couple of other sandwich options on the menu. They also have a bakery case, with donuts that are specialty made. 10 different types ALL look delicious!! I tried but forgot to photograph the Pistachio Lime donut. Go before noon if you are having it for lunch.

Their Chicken sandwiches are some of the best I've ever had. This is one of my favorite places. Staff is really nice. Took a little while to prepare my food but that's always worth it for amazing food.

Excellent chicken sandwiches. Prices are a little high but willing to support a local business! You have to find parking on your own. Park meter if you can as the $5 dollar parking is for 15 minutes and the meter is $1 per hour during lunch hours. Dont forget to get the doughnuts for dessert!

PSA:This place has better lemonade than Chik Fil a!
Honestly this place is amazing! I will be here much more often they have the best donuts, chicken, lemonade & of course customer service! They were super packed the guy at the register( Forgot his name but he had dreads) explained everything to us didn’t rush us & was super cool! This place is a must try! You’ll probably never eat a Popeyes or Chic Fil a sandwich again after coming here!!!

Nashville chicken sando for the win! 🔥💯 medium hot was just the right amount of spicy. Didn’t try the donuts but they looked hella bomb! If I can find parking I’ll be back again.
