The Library Coffee House

We adore "The Library..." A Coffee House, Inc. it's been a favorite spot for years ever since Gary & Steven opened circa 1993. While they don't own or operate it anymore, I still get chills when we visit as it reminds me of a simpler time gone by along with all the fond memories that went with it. There are special things only I'll notice that are missing, mainly obsessive details that Steven would fret about if he were alive today. However, it's a great place to chat with friends, enjoy some dessert & coffee and reminisce... and perhaps possibly make new friends, or do whatever else makes you happy. Cute little coffee shop that is set up like a library. I loved that they provided several sugar free options. Currently have outside dining. Coffee was fresh and great.

Comfortable little coffee house, good selection for breakfast, and later in the day.....dessert anyone.

I love this place <3 the ambience is always so cozy, i’m so glad my friend introduced me to this place! Their coffee and pastries and absolutely delicious. This is definitely a perfect place to go to if you need to study or have alone time to relax. Can’t wait to go back after the pandemic!

Very relaxed and eclectic, like the quality AND the menu. You would think that they would be amazing, so many options. How would that be a problem? Maybe everyone doesn't order the items we got today because they tasted neglected. The cold brew tasted like it has been sitting in the back of the refrigerator for the past month, right next to the stale coffee cake that absorbed every order in the fridge. And the apricot tart that was provided tasted like it was served straight out of a can. When I bit into the tart I wanted to eat the coffee cake instead. Very disappointing when it all looked good. Guess looks can be deciving.

Favorite place to study, write, or read a book. Excellent service and delicious pastries!

The chocolate Cupcakes are my favorite here. Eat bite is special and have dreams about these lil guys when I haven't had one in a while. Make sure you get the CUPCAKE and not the muffin

We got a drip coffee, an iced latte, a lemon bar and a lemon Bundt cake.
The cakes were okay while the coffees tasted burnt. You may like that, I thought it was unenjoyable.
Atmosphere is good & quirky, though the service was relatively unfriendly.

My sister and I are at this Library coffee shop every other day and it gets more welcoming every time! 🦇

Hands down the BEST BACON EGG & CHEESE CROISSANT I have ever had IN MY LIFE‼️ im not even joking. The egg is sooo soft and the bacon is mhhh soo crunchy, while the croissant is always baked fresh daily so it’s always perfect ✨ I had to come every morning while on vacation in Long Beach cuz I couldn’t help myself !
